We hear about ppl getting miraculously cured by holy water/ touch/ presence of particular person . Sometimes it may be for minor ailments but the cure is instant, at times it may be gradual for a major illness that was declared incurable by estbd medical fraternity. What do you have to say about it. Science or superstition ?

It's supertition or a miracle. Maybe the person is so convinced that he/she is gonna get cured, that thought gets to the brain through the nerves and the brains sends a message back that makes the person feels better.

you mean the placebo effect 😆 If that is so then it cud have been tried more often for the results stated. Doctors could always tell the pt that a particular medicine would certainly heal him even if they were not so sure , just to make the pt bliv that he wud b cured.

I think it is quite common and It happens to most of us. sometimes when my cat is sick I give it some vibuthi and a bit of prayers and he starts walking again happily after a couple of days.

But of course sometimes it may not work fully too.

Most important is that we ourselves need to have some faith and confidence.

I have also managed to cure some a wounded bird that was I thought already dead, later it flew off. Bird was wounded by my horrible cat of course.

I do not see this as a miracle but perhaps a higher science.

A friend of mine uses accupuncture to cure some of the sick people, he claims that the chi or energy is sometimes stuck and he has to release it.

Sometimes a mother's tender and loving touch can easily cure a sick child too.

Pranic healing, reiki healing, aura cleansing - all seem to B catching on these days. Healing by touch is also mentioned in the Bible .It could be a science that we are not well aware of 😊

frankly even our body has self healing powers to some extent. without faith in the doctors they say nothing works. Faith provides positive energy which provides the cure.

ppl are turning to alternative therapy systems as they become aware of the harmful adverse effects of conventional therapy basically the allopathic system which mostly treats the symptoms.

talking about the healing energies it is said to b present in all of us but in an amplified state in those who are initiated in its ways. chakra healing & clearing blockages in movt of pranic energy or life force is also mentioned in our ancient texts .The description of the chakras corresponds closely to our endocrine system. The nadis correspond to the sympathetic & parasympathetic nervous system of the body. It cud very well be a science waiting to B rediscovered !

I believe more in healing touches. Healing as in soothing/comforting. My little one says she feels better the moment I place my palm ober her forehead when she is running a fever. Same way, she claims me rubbing vicks on her chest and back makes her feel better than any one else doing that for her.

yes Gauri, i know what you mean . The mother child bond is a very special one. The healing touch & healing presence works in this case even without any attunement that the healers get. I still havent figured out how my mom always senses whenever I have the slightest discomfort or illness even though we may be miles apart. I invariably get a ph call form her just when I need it the most (which is often 😆)& feel much better almost instantly 😛

sometimes some softs words or just a look too can do wonders.
