Hello Everyone - I had sent a msg to Parul asking why the repeat timings in India were cancelled, and that fans were getting nervouse!. Here's what she said...

"Anyways is it so coz ppl take our show for grantd.. Nd dnt wotch it at 9 thy thnk ' itni bar repeate ata h fir dekh lenge hnna.? Bt channle wants evryone to wotch at 9"

To me looks like the channel wants people to see at 9:00 (that's what probably brings in the trps).
What's your take? I'm not in India so not really aware of the situation properly.

Seems like a reasonable policy by the channel. let us hope it works.

But is it good to cancel all repeat shows? It can be repeated at least once in the morning.

Thanks Turpichi for asking Parul about it .. and really sweet of Parul to respond.

It does make sense .. coz its true, repeat telecasts don't fetch TRP's or they are not counted as much as original telecast is. Not sure how it works.

But if this is the channel strategy .. then they need to promote the show a lot lot lot more than currently what they are. They need to have new promos regularly .. show those promos at every other break .. have interviews of the leads and so much more!

They could have a nationwide contest .. encouraging people to write in their love stories which have been on similar grounds .. and the winners could get to meet the leads .. see them shoot .. spend an entire day with them .. etc..etc! The channel just can't stop repeats .. not do anything about the promotions and expect people to tune in. Promotions need to be of the 'in-your-face' kind!!

im not stayin in india......n im in bahrain n dis show telecast at 6:30pm (bah time)....wich im unable to see it......i hv ma coachin class at 6pm.....sooo its difficult to watch....... soo im really angry dat dey cancelled d repeat timings........

i really hope dey put bak d repeat timings.........

That's just a brilliant idea! You need to become the head of the marketing dept at Colors😆 I seriously mean it... This contest would be a blast... Abeer and Leher could easily become icons of young love! Gosh... so many visions running in my head already! How come no one in the channel thought about this?

I also have another request. Can they please show an exclusive YPNHK promo? Not link always with that LTL, which by all accounts is doing well anyway!

Thanks Gaayu .. but head of marketing?? Loll .. kuch zyada ho gaya 😆 But yeah .. we should pass on these ideas to the Colors team .. maybe our feedback could encourage them to do something about it as it also shows how much the serial is loved! 😳

Agree with you about the promos .. we need exclusive promos, only of YPNHK. Speaking of which .. maybe they should have exclusive promos of GK-Yami/AbHer .. first show some shots of the episode followed by them encouraging the viewers to tune in. That would give a personal touch to the promo .. and audience connectivity will increase 😊

I also like your idea of Yami and GK conversing with the audience and asking them to join in. May be Yami can say (as Leher) ' main kya karoon is Abeer ka' or something! That will get people curious! It's all about packaging these days...

You should definitely send your idea across to Colors. Chalo, jaldi kar😃

thanks a lot Turpichifor asking parul.i agree wid Eks completely .they shud show regular promos,in promos they shud show AbHer scenes ,bcoz AbHer jodi is already a hit ,people will get attracted to watch YPNHK.Also if for TRP's channel is cancelling repeat telecast than its ok.but 1 thing is for sure they shud regularly show the promos of YPNHK.

and fair enough the channel wants to telecast it only one to boost the TRPs but they gotto stop giving the show a step child treatment.

I have been sending them our feedback from IF almost everyday
hope they take it into consideration soon...what annoys me is that the dont even advertise YPNHK on ther own website ,whats that abt now?
instead they have banners and links to afternoon shows😡

I agree Gaayu ,we need exclusive promos

@Eks ,all your suggestions will do the show so much good,sach u deserve to be amogst their marketing team and drill some sense into their heads

Loll .. love the line for Leher! Likewise .. Abeer could have one promo saying "Leher se hum maafi maangna chahte hain .. lekin woh hai ki sunti hi nahin! Main kya karoon?! Aap koi idea denge?" hinting to the audience! Such kinda promos are always good .. and fun! 😃
