Abhishek Bachchan will be doing the role planned for Sanjay Dutt in a forthcoming film titled Jatt Punjabi .

So does that mean that Dutt has been dropped from the film by Bunty Walia , who last produced Ek Ajnabee ?

No. Dutt will be doing the role that was initially written for the mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan .

These changes have been forced rather than made because Bachchan has rescheduled all his shooting schedules following his sudden sickness and still recovering.

Earlier, Bunty had assigned 'Jatt Punjabi's lead role to Big B and the second lead to Dutt.

Bunty says that the change of roles has been done with the consent of Bachchan. In fact, Bachchan had suggested giving the lead role to Dutt.

In view of the change of roles, Bunty has introduced some changes in the script too.

Bunty had conceived the idea of 'Jatt Punjabi' before his 'Ek Ajnabee' but had to defer this movie due to Dutt's dates problem.

So, Dutt will take Big B's place and Abhishek will play the role of Dutt in 'Jatt Punjabi'.
