Priyanka's cash crunch?

An IPL team is Bollywood's most wanted accessory these days. Anybody who's anybody in the film industry either owns one, has tried to buy one, or has thought about buying one. SRK, Preity Zinta, and Shilpa Shetty are in the first category; Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are in the second; and Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan are believed to be in the third.

But there's a fourth category, film folk who can't afford to buy an IPL team – and Priyanka Chopra falls in this category. She says so herself!

PC was at an event in Mumbai yesterday (March 10) to announce the screening of DLF IPL 2010 matches live in theatres across India. She was asked if she thought about getting an IPL team herself, when she said, "I can't afford an IPL team!" She said it with a laugh, of course. And we don't think the actress has to pinch pennies (or actually even the crores it takes to buy an IPL team), even though her last release 'Pyaar Impossible' disappointed at the box office. So what's stopping her from buying a team? Any guesses?
