| John Abraham and Salman Khan's girlfriends, Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif, have joined Mallika Sherawat in Tips' untitled film, to be directed by Abbas-Mustan.
Said the director duo, "The casting is complete. Bipasha and Katrina have filled the two vacant slots." It has taken them a long tie to put the film's cast together.
"We needed three heroes and three heroines, so it was definitely going to take some time. But we have got it right in the end, and that's all that counts," they explained. High glam quotient
All three girls are sex-bombs in their own way. So, will there be a lot of skin on show? "No exposure per se. But yes, all three — Mallika, Bipasha and Katrina — will be portrayed as equally stylish and glamorous.
They play many mind games in the story," said Abbas. Tale of two brothers
The film, which rolls in August, will have three male leads — Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Penned by Shiraaz Ahmed (Humraaz, Aitraaz), it is the story of two brothers, set to outwit each other.
Saif plays Fardeen's older brother, while Kapoor plays a cop. Who is starring opposite whom then? The directors won't say. "We can't tell you that. Each of them has a connection to the three males." Bipasha rocks
Abbas-Mustan and Bipasha go back a long way. Bipasha debuted in films courtesy their film, Ajnabee.
"We have a very comfortable equation with Bipasha," they maintain. Did she sign the film without reading the script? "Well, we would neither appreciate nor encourage that. Bipasha agreed to do the film only when she was convinced she liked the script and her character."
Reluctant to give away the plot, the duo said, "Like always, this time too we have a thriller. It's an edge-of-the-seat film. We bet the public won't budge from their seats." vickey.lalwani@mid-day.com |
