A great song by Sonu ji.. full of passion..appropriate lyrics
The starting is just out-standing i love it.. the slow, subtle, husky voice creates magic..
The sudden fast rhythm activates the situation and singing goes well fast and good along with it..
High-notes are nicely sung, every word is emphasized closely..
"Kaisay Katay Gi Ye Zindagi.." is a nice line, sung well..
the expression is captured so wonderfully, the aggressive, anxious voice is a strong element of this song.. the low-notes are finished nicely..The ending part gives a unique touch.. the twisted upper note he takes in singing "Chha Gayeen" is just amazing..
The Expression is accurate here in every way, makes the listener feel that passion.. on that point, i would like to give an extra mark to this number.. 10 on 10 for the heart-felt passionate expression.

A 9/10 performance.

I think this song is not fit for final round sonu has such amazing songs..anything else would have done justice to him

Yes the song is not very popular, but the singing is phenomenal.

Hmmm....somewhere I knew popularity issues will come up. People who think it was not the right choice, well they can blame me for that. Sorry for that guys. I was the one who suggested this song.

My motive was to impress judges here because I think this competition is more about singing. I know audience generally tends to vote for popular songs and yes there were lot more popular songs to choose from. But I selected this song due to its difficult nature.

I am banking on judges still. Sonu Nigam has done variations in the song. It has high notes and low notes. And there is a 20 seconds alaap in the song which perhaps was most difficult. Compare that to breathless which was not at all breathless. Shankar ji himself admitted that. And if popularity is taken into account then Rahat Saab's song is least popular out of the 3 songs.

Hmmm...Summer ji...actually in one of Sonu ji's interview he said that Main Agar Kahoon is not one of his favs...and in my view it is not a difficult song at all...especially compared with 'Jeena Hain Tere Liye'....

Definitely, agree with you.. i think we should judge the singing here, not to use the absurd criteria of how POPULAR a song is.. because it is clearly indicated in the rules of the competition..
Main Agar Kahoon is a very romantic number, but definitely easy to sing as compared to this song. This song has phenomenal singing talent in it.
