New girl on the block
The new girl on the film block Kavitta Vermma (all numerologically correct) makes her debut in T P Agarwal's film Manoranjan which has Bollywood as its backdrop. This 20-something from New Delhi comes from an armed forces family.
"Acting was something I really wanted to do right from the day I understood I had to do something in life. And that's why I did theatre in New Delhi and brushed my skills to improve my potential.
She has also done theatre workshops and also believes in the importance of being educated as "it sharpens your mind before jumping on to the real ambition."
And on Valentine's Day, she takes her first step towards the two biggest happiness of life — a film and perhaps a dream boy!

We caught Urmila at Manish Malhotra's private preview last night. And may we add, she looked stunning with her cropped short hair.
We were sure it was for a new film and Urmila confirmed, "Yes, this is my look for a new film Bas Ek Pal Ke Liye," Everyone at the party was busy complimenting Urmila.
We are just happy that there is at least one actress who takes pains to work on her look for every film, and doesn't just don those hideous wigs. Take a bow, Urmila baby.
