The show is over, the fat lady has sung, or in this case the fat man (ram kapoor) has spoken...lol 😆😆....and as the dust settles, i'm reading all the posts on the forum and thinking to myself that have we all become this cynical in life, as to not be able to wish a newly married couple the best of luck ??? I mean think about it, RM said he's gonna get married on the show and he did !!! he kept his word...now people here are saying that this marriage won't last, or they'll get divorced, well nothing is certain in life, u could go out on the road today and get killed, he never said that i will get married on the show, and stay married forever, he said clearly what he was gonna do, and as long as he did that, we should all be satisfied. Shoudln't we????
I agree that part of the cynicism is caused by RM's past, and it is indeed dark, but i mean do we know of any celebrity who is doodh ka dhula? who doesn't have a few skeletons in their closet??? If he really plans to turn his life around, then more power to him i say, i had been feeling for quite some time now that he would choose dimpy, simply beacuse he seems the most at-ease when he is with her...i dunno if it's love, but it is certainly something. Rm said at the post wedding interview, that he and dimpy are soulmates...well i have married and my soulmate and the hopless romantic in me says that if indeed they are soulmates, I wish the best of luck in life, and truly hope that now that they are married, they do find whatever they were looking for in each other. Yes RM was married before, but just because he's divorced, doesn't mean he cannot have a real and long-lasting marraige this time, many people in this world have more than one marriage.
Regarding the wedding, it looked lavish, but i think the decar was over-the-top, too much flowers and wayyy too much red....The bengali style wedding wasa also nice to watch, except they never had the "Shubh-Drishti" ritual. RM looked okay, his kurta was good, not too gaudy, dimpy looked simply stunning... completely gorgeous, with her figure, and the bengali style face decoration, and everything, her sari was also beautiful, and she was a vision, a glowing bride...
Among the other girls, nikunj also looked stunning, but a little bit less than dimpy, her outfit was good, i like the color and the work on it, i HATEDDDD harpreet's outfit, too over-the-top and gaudy, i wanted to throw up just looking at it, the work on it was also not delicate, and looked shoddy...
I'm glad they showed most of the important wedding rituals, as the last time there was tv wedding, (PB) they seemed to just skip the impt parts of the wedding...😕
I have liked dimpy's family the most since they showed the girl's families, and dimpy's family seemed to take genuine interest in the wedding celebration and the pre-wedding events, unlike nikunj's family who looked like they were being retained there by force....😆...
I am feeling really bad for the other 2 girls though, because, it is sooo difficult to perform all the pre-wedding rituals in someone's name and then not get married with him....it must be devastating...even if they didn't love the guy, the whole process itself must be heart-breaking to go through, with no result.
I was also really bummed that they just kinda made the other girls disappear as soon as he selected dimpy. I mean we never even got to see the girls after he put the garland around dimpy's neck...wth...😕. They could have atleast showed some decent departure to the girls...they way it was done was distasteful...imo...
All in all, after the nautanki was over, atleast the audience got paisa-vasool, since this time there was a wedding, unlike last time.
I also wanna say bye to all the forum members of RDLJ forum, it was completely fun while it lasted, c u all somewhere else, some other time...
Over and Out.
