After Adhiraj-Suhani's EXTREMELY cliched fall scene*.....I was thinking......that the fall scenes are pathetically unromantic.....I can never quite understand why do they happen....hamesha ladkiyan hi kyun girti hain.....and plus I find them rather funny*.....in fact i feel a strange impulse to laugh jab koi bhi kahin bhi girta hain....

Yes, even if the most scintillating bg music plays and even if the guy's and girl's hair flies all over the place....I just don't like fall scenes, but i know many ppl do, so I just wanted to ask them a question:

To everyone who can detect romance in the fall scenes,
a. What is romantic in them?
b.Would you find it less romantic if the GUY fell in the GIRL'S arms? Of course, it would be rather tough on the girl, but i think the girl could manage it for say atleast a few secs! So, do you think if the Oh-so-strong guy falls in the girls arms, the romance element would be affected?

Just wondering. It's not bashing or any of the things that's not allowed here....it's just a thought that flitted through my mind and I converted it into a topic....!

And lastly, plz don't take this tpc seriously.....it's just wholesome nonsense and i hope the answers are nonsensical too....!!!

Ok i find the falls rather irksome too but there are many things in this world I find irksome..So thats not a scale to judge anything i guess...lolz..

See when Nupur feel on Mayank's Arms i kinda liked it...The first fall atleast..I saw an instant spark....A chemistry which i have never seen before. So yes the Mayur falls I really liked.

Now if you ask me about Adhaani fall..well I dont know what to think of them...And as to how come the guy never falls in the gals arms...well It would be an insult to the guys muskles na? rofl....

hey i agree with you to some extent, but its not the fall(s) really which i have found romantic but the expressions and reactions afterwards which made them look really romantic on MN, i guess its very important that the right emotions and expressions are associated with such scenes.

i will be honest, i have found all the MN fall scenes esp early on really romantic, they all seemed well placed and not just there for the sake of it, further even mayank and nupur were shown mocking over it hehe, esp mayank which made such scenes believable and i could connect to them

rest i guess i would go with what rinky has said.

And the funniest part is despite the fact that both had bhang and were drunk, adhiraj still managed to catch suhani, as if they were both perfectly sober😆!!!!

and i know wht u mean by is the fall actually romantic??? well in my view, it's not the actually fall, it's the eyelock romance that follows it....

generally, people would not at all consider it romantic if the guy fell and the girl caught him (bt it depends on the characters), this is not my pov, cause i think if directed/conducted/executed well, this can be a very romantic scene 😳

but people would not accept it probably because the girl is usually meant to be the damsel in distress, and the guy is meant to be the hero to prevent anything wrong from happening....this stereotyope would be qite had to change, and to get across to people that the guy-falls-girl-catches scene will be accepted...

is that what u were looking for?? lol....i hope it was and that i added to the nonsense....

Come to think of it, even I found Mayank's sarcastic comments and all after the falls very hilarious....

@shaaranya: Gosh, this has to be the most used scene in the history of Indian televsion.!I wonder which srk movie started this trend?

Yes, why are they considered romantic?! give me a moment,

I guess I like the ones where the two hate or dislike or are offended by each other or maybe even just avoiding each other for some reason, THEN fate pushes them together saying 'no matter how far you run away, or are in denial, YOU ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER!! So just accept it'

Regardless, now that you mentioned this I have made a life changing decision! From now on I will only be in heels around those whom I wouldn't mind that if I fell or tripped, that they would catch me. Seriously, I wouldn't want to start something unintentionally!!!!😲

Umm, yes, quite a lot of ppl like the eyelock-ing and all that follows....and I like it only when it's not overdone.
I mean if you see a guy like DAILY, and then fell in his arms, would you actually stare at him for 10 mins together like you're seeing it the first time?
That's when I think it get's melodramatic.

Right out of the Three Jodis that we have (Yes I'm counting Adhani. Just humour me okay?) the most Fall Scenes have come from MayUr😃

They have PERFECTED the Fall Scene😆 SaJan have only had.... *Ponders*.... one Fall Scene?😕 Really?

I don't know am I wrong? The only one I can remember is the one where Gunjan is giving Samrat notes, Chakoo and these other guys shove the door open and Samrat catches Gunjan to stop her falling. And it only lasted what? 10 seconds?😆

Personally I would love to see more Fall Scenes on SaJan I quite like Fall Scenes😳

Call me a Hopeless Romantic but they're cute!

I mean it would NEVER happen in real life! And I find the Eyelock that follows quite romantic!😃

It's not the Fall that's romantic it's the Follow Up!😆

As for Adhani their Fall Scene from yesterday was actually okay! Maybe it's cause I was absolutely LOVING SaJan yesterday that I'm feeling quite generous about Adhani😆 We'll see how long THAT lasts😉
