Actually, with supriya...dutta has this formal relationship in front of the whole family....i believe till date both of them barely interacted with each other. Even, when dutta was questioning supriya...she didn't utter a word and only cried...i believe he just carried her once to save her life...and held her hand to put on the engagement ring & the ritual jewelry.

With naku...dutta's relation is somewhat informal ( and not infront of family)...sort of like it is with bajirao...perhaps b/c they work for him...i dont know...and the first time he held hand was in a tricky situation and he was only protecting her...so no thoughts there......

But yes, in yesterday episode...the way he dragged naku by holding her hand, it was like as if he doesn't care what ppl think...he has to explain himself to naku for his irresponsible behavior in a drunken state...even, if she doesn't want to go willingly...he sort of forced her to come...thats why hand holding was required...nothing romantic...but he doesn't mind it either......i think dutta's state of mind is pretty much emotion less (from the love angle right now & all he remembers is his pain & betrayal......)

I am sure once he starts to have feelings for naku...he will become shy n hesitant in holding her hands etc...
