Has anyone ever noticed that?
No matter whether PAdma is making a valid, sensible statement or not, KK will always oppose it. And when she corrects him and shows him logic, he'll just look away in exahsperation.
Why?
It's almost become like his standard response to everything!
Like he hardly thinks before he speaks now.
For example, when Padma wanted Jyoti to sign the papers, KK immediately said no, without a though about Sudha.
No one is thinking practically about this.
Jyoti didn't get it in formal writing that Pankaj would never try to claim custory of their child.
Kal ko, when Pankaj comes to his senses and he wants his child and there's a drawn-out court battle, if Jyoti has these papers signs (wheter it's a lie or not) it will be legally binding that Jyoti was not living with Pankaj, so the child can not be his.
But if she doesn't sign, then anyone can make a BS story about JYoti taking the waaris of the Vashishts away from them, or some crap
But anyways, KK's attituse is exhausting sometimes. Everytime PAdma opens her mouth, you know there's a retort coming from him. I just sit there thinking, 'Wait for it... 3...2....1.... cue KK!'
It can get pretty annoying

But since when does Padma care about Sudha? I'd argue that Bhairavi cares about Sudha more than Padma does. Padma is only using this Sudha argument to further her case - Sudha is in no danger, and the worst has passed. Sudha's most dangerous moment was when Jyoti was kicked out, and it was feared that she'd be kicked out as well. But since Uday not only supported her, but made Jyoti's case as well to his folks, Sudha's marriage being in danger is out of the question.
I agree that Jyoti shouldn't sign anything that is untrue. But earlier, when Jyoti was signing on the divorce and Padma was urging that she take the money that's offered, that was when it would have made sense for Jyoti to have taken it, since she wouldn't have been selling herself for a lie, and yet, even then, KK supported Jyoti's refusal on that against Padma.
And yes, she should have taken a written affidavit from Pankaj swearing never to claim the child, even if it was his, in lieu of the divorce. Somehow, every decision Jyoti makes is made emotionally - her insistance to Pankaj, for instance, that proofs are never required in relationships - is a piece of crap! Even Uday, who loved Sudha, and loves her, needed proof that Sudha and Devika didn't know about each other. You can't just take everything on blind faith.
In her last enounter w/ Pankaj, Jyoti conceded that she was an idiot for believing in him w/o any proof. That alone should cause her to mend her ways.
Back to KK & Padma - have you noticed, everytime Deepu does something good for Poonam, Padma points out how KK never did it for her? While I hate Padma more than anybody, I do sympathize w/ her in one respect - hers was a forced marriage, and is now an unhappy one @ that. She was never loved, and the end result was that she's taken that resentment out on Jyoti & Sudha. She's still captive in this marriage, and unlike Jyoti, nobody is paying her to let go of it.
I just wish someone, maybe Bhairavi, maybe Neelam's parents, make her an offer similar to the one being made to Jyoti - take a few lacks of rupees and divorce that cripple. And make yourself comfortable. For Jyoti, it's not a happy decision to make, but for Padma, it will be. I want Padma to divorce KK, rather than vice versa. Let Deepu, Poonam and Sushma pick who they want to live w/.
