Myself and Mads were just chatting about SaJan, like always !!! 😆 Everyone knows that I adore Gunjan the most in MJHT, and I'll admit tonight that I have complained about Sam a lot of times in the past. Especially after the Valentines Ball, I was furious with him !!! So much so that I detested him that night !! (Sam lovers don't throw chappals at me) 😆 I questioned myself, why does Sam call himself Gunjan's soul mate ?? He doesn't deserve too !! In fact He doesn't deserve Gunjan at all !! She is too good for him !! 😳
I have had several chats on MSN with all my friends about this, and I always came to the same conclusion, that he doesn't deserve her. I'm not questioning his love for her, I have always known that he loves her very very much, so when I said he wasn't good enough for her, I meant that he is such a dhakkan most of the time and is oblivious to everyone's feelings all the time, even Gunjan, that he might not be able to take care of her and get rid of her insecurities the way they should be.
I even questioned the fact, are they really SOULMATES ?
I was looking for an answer, when I asked myself why am I asking this question ? The answer was because Sam is such a dhakkan that he is even oblivious to Gunjan's feelings AT TIMES. The emphasis is on AT TIMES, because after he became friends with Gunjan, she taught him how to care for other people's feelings.
I have had this discussion with Sona before too, and this is what I was discussing with Mads tonight !! After chatting and dicussing with her I realized that before Gunjan, he was oblivious to his friends feelings !! Especially Dia's feelings for HIM. Before Gunjan, he cared about Dia, but he was oblivious to her feelings for him. But after he became friends with Gunjan he not only cared about Dia, but also about her feelings. Mads reminded me about Rose Day, where Dia wanted a rose from Sam, but he didn't give her one, because he knew she had feelings for him and he didn't want to lead her on !! Because all his friends knew, including Dia that he never gave flowers to any girl on rose day.
Him being oblivious to everyone's feelings before and even now at times is understandable to me now. Because he has lived alone all his life, he never had to care about anyone's feelings but his OWN. When SaJan became friends that's when Sam started to realize that he has to learn to be aware of his friends feelings and care about them.
When I questioned myself about SaJan being SOULMATES, it wasn't because i started to think they weren't, I questioned because I wanted my convictions and my beliefs about them to be firm. After analyzing all this with Mads tonight I realized that they are Indeed SOUL MATES. Sam may have been oblivious to other's feelings, but he cared about people in general, he may have been oblivious to Dia's feelings, but he cared about her and respected her !! !And not only her, but respected every girl he knew or met. Living alone without parents or siblings, he could have grown up to be any kind of Guy, because without guidance guys tends to loose their way !! But he didn't. Even Without any parental guidance he grew up to be a beautiful HUMAN BEING.
After realizing that, I got my ANSWER !!I Sam is beautiful human being, but ONLY Gunjan recognized the real HIM. I will quote Mads here ' She jus saw his soul like he saw HERS' that is why they are SOUL MATES' And i agree with her 100%.
Sam is still learning a lot from Gunjan,that's why maybe still he can be a Dhakkan and that's why when he doesn't have Gunjan to guide him or explain things to him, he becomes like a lost child. Soul mates are those who complete each other. and that is what SaJan do, they complete each other !! If Gunjan guides him about people and relationships, then Sam teaches her how to believe in herself !! 😳 No wonder they are SOUL MATES and perfect for each other !!! 😳
I will always love Gunjan more and I still believe that Sam needs to realize that he cant live a carefree life anymore, that he needs to understand that his actions doesn't affect only him anymore, they affect Gunjan's life too , because now his happiness, his actions and his life is linked with her. But I can understand Sam a lot more better then I did before.
