Does anyone remember Hrishikesh Ranade and Dr. Neha, winners of the previous saregama series? The current finalists Vinit and Debo are nowhere even close to Hrishi!! But what has become of these singers, I wonder? Jatin lalit were there as one of the judges for the finel round and they had sworn that they would give the winners a chance to sing thier compositions definitely. But has anybody heard them later ? Just curious??? Please reply if somebody knows anything about them.

Here this time winning and loosing is purely on public voting which is meaningless. so winning is not as per their singing capacity.....so Its a game of making money by the producers. so we cant say the winner will be famous and the singers who are out cant do anything...already Nihira,Himani,Hemu and Twinkle got chances to do something in media.

yes amogh u r right. Nihira belongs to thier genre, but i am afraid that such good singers will be lost since they are not hyped and hence even the MDs tend to forget them. see here itself I can feel by the repose to this topic that hardly anyone remembers them 😭

Yes I clearly remember Hrishikesh an excellent singer more a professional. He was in a totally different league. To be honest one hardly hears on what becomes of the winners from Saregamapa Contests really. Hrishikesh took Dubai by storm and won. There was also a competition among teenagers in which a really good looking girl had won and the guy's name was Rahul or something. Having won they were offered some playback singing contracts but don't even know whether that particular movie even released.

Rahul won the golden voice hunt, He later came on Indian Idol 1 and was voted out in the Galas.. He got some movie offers i heard.

I remmeber Hrishikesh and also what a craze he got to Dubai! MY friends who went to see the shooting were totally impressed by his singing... He had a fantastic voice..

I think Hema is pretty good though
