Why I cannot stand Ichha anymore

I guess I am sticking my neck out here because of the number of fans Ichha has but I must say this. If what Ichha is doing defines niceness, then I personally would rather be not nice. I would rather be wicked, evil and all the negative things!!!!

There is a thin line between niceness and servility/weakness/idiocy/cowardice. I think Ichha has crossed that line long back. She does not stand up for truth and love; she merely dances to the tune of two people who have crossed all moral limits--Tappu and Nani. At least let's not have the illusion that she is good and lives for others. She lives for Tapasya and Nani. Her decisions (even to marry Vansh) is not really her own, and believe me I would have respected even this decision if it was her own. It simply shows here is a person who does not follow her heart (if she has one!) or her head (again if she has one) but simply allows herself to be manipulated by a couple of scheming women. If in the middle of her marriage, Tappu asks her to dump Vansh, believe me the same Iccha will do it. Her image of herself is determined by what these women think and say. Without them, she is nothing.

The story of Uttaran would have been great if they had shown Ichha grow up as a strong, independent and confident woman! But apparently any one who is strong and confident cannot be moral and nice? In order to be moral and nice, one must first lose the thing called 'back bone'?

Because, believe me, our lovely and nice Ichha does not have a backbone!!!

well, i still watch the serial because of ichcha .

iccha's life is decided by TAPNI.
tomorrow after curing vansh , seeing iccha's growing fondness in b -house
tappu asks her to leave vansh - will she leave ..
and trying to repay for what jogi thakur did - is her madness
because that's something her mother needs to do .. and jogi is after all doing it on his own guilt ..
Long back iccha should have said enough
because of iccha's behaviour - tappu is all the more spoilt ..
if iccha had to repay - she could have done by showing tappu's real character ..
when she tried to murder her at least ...

but does iccha have the right to spoil lives of 2 brothers just for sake of tappu ??

Jogis..family has given her a lot otherwise she would have been working as a naukrani in some other house...or whaever..who knows..

ichcha is just trying to repay what she has got from them.

just imagine ,

ichcha marries veer without listening to tapu then mad tapu will suicide. then everyone will hate ichcha

Ichcha does not marry vansh then he'll go mad and sucide. even then everyone will hate her (even veer i guess)

OR

She tells everyone that tapu tried to kill her . then tapu will go to jail and then all the ppl will be really sad (which ichcha will not want to happen)

she just wants to think abt the happiness of everyone. ..............

i echo the same feelings reg Ichcha.(plus bold ones in red)..shez doing a supreme sacrifice of parting with Veer n possibly marrying Vansh...to make everyone happy...she deserves to be appreciated and not yelled at.....😡😡

You know... if Ichcha was agreeing to marry Vansh for the reasons she used to explain to Jogi/Damini, then I might have seen where she was coming from. But the saddest part of it all is - she didn't mean a word of it. Everything she said was all just meaningless lies. The real and only reason she's so adamant in marrying Vansh is because thats what Taps and Nani want her to do.

Ichcha probably is the most annoying lead character in all of Indian television, and she proves that to us more and more everyday!

I personally am still not fed up with this character.., ichcha seems 2 b hell bent upon making jogis daughter happy in return for the love n affection showered by jogi. I prefer 2 sympathise with ichcha for her supreme sacrifice,rather than consider evil bit.. Charctr Taps as intelligent n victorious.,

first nani told ichcha to marry vansh (that is one point) .

for sometime she was doing it for tapu-veer relationship but then she did think on the other side too ,that is , about vansh.

moreover ichcha does not do nautanki like taps, so , i think whatever she said to jogi in the basti was not lies.
