It tells us both Sid-ridz state of mind.
I myself have been feeling irritated with Sid but your post made me see him in a different light too.I can now somewhat understand why he is behaving like this.
I think Sid is just more and more confused seeing Riddhimma like this as he hasn't seen her acting like this ever. She never was the one who wanted to make their relationship work and now she suddenly is doing so many things for her marriage. It will take Sid a little time to get used to this.
Coming to the ending of your post,If now Riddhima slaps Sid ,I for one wouldnt be too suprised as he has clearly crossed a boundary for whatever misunderstanding he may have done that.its still the same situation.
But I still hope they Improve the situation and bring back my cute smiling, happy go lucky Sid

Thank you!
I think that its a real life situation, the phrase "the tables have turned" springs to mind, and of course it has found its origins due to situations like this one!
I think she really did bite the brunt of it all so to speak, from the promo it seems that the "shove" is the only action we shall take, DMG creatives thrive on their promotions, if Riddhima were to slap Sid, it was sure to have been shown (in my opinion of course) but it does show that she really is trying to change herself back to her original self, or just to be a calm person in general. The girl who used to slap for no apparent reason whatsoever has now demoted her actions to merely "pushing away" when she isn't comfortable with her surroundings....

luvarti- thanks for commenting, I believe that in DMG, only those who are meant to be villains i.e. Sister Stella, Abhi's wife, Pashab singh etc etc, ARE the villains, otherwise the characters themselves are all kind hearted...therefore, in my opinion, Sid can never be absolutely bad/slated as being a bad person...At some point in life, there exists within some part of us a Riddhima/Sid/Yuvi/Naina ! kritishah3-
but her step of suicide attempt is going against her efforts
...though she is genuine this tym siddhant dsnt believe her..her efforts are going in vain...i knw sid has pushed this a bit further and he is absolutely wrong here..and yes riddhima's discomfort was visible wen siddhant came close to her...but i can understand sid's state of mind too..he is going thru a very ugly phase in his life as of now..he has blinded all his logics to think wat is right and wrong in terms of behaviour..he just thinks riddhima is faking n acting..its difficult for him to digest riddhima's sudden change...both of them r goin thru a testing period n both of them r bruised from within....they are surrounded with the vicious circle of misunderstanding and utter disbelief...

hello! Firstly, thank you for commenting, I agree with your comment wholeheartedly, the underlined parts I feel are incredibly significant to the analysis! It is in human nature to make mistakes and with regards to Sid and Riddhima, this acts like a tennis match, one person starts off hitting the ball and another person smacks it back over the net, and so we have a situation until one person will "lose" or realise their mistake. At the minute we know Riddhima has realised hers, yet because of the misunderstanding of the letter, Sid anger has only gotten worse!

And I also agree with both you and

Pocahontas (thank you for commenting),

I hope he reads that darned letter soon enough! And if not, the perpetrator of that honeymoon letter to come forward and confess!!!

Lennie- thanks for commenting, I know! Things seem to be getting prettttty intense between Sid and Riddhima-from his end anyway, god knows whats in his mind, is he hating her or from the end of last weeks episode loving her? Both ways hes keen to provoke a reaction of some sort-we just have to wait and watch to see what it is!

gina-101 - thanks for commenting! I think that ek se kaam nahi bana, Sid clearly hasn't learnt any sort of lesson, you'd think he understood Riddhima by now, or maybe he just enjoys getting hit by her?! However, in Panchgani he did say "Riddhima Gupta, tum ne mujhe kareed nahi rakha ke jab chaho jo jao kar sakti ho, agar tum ladka hoti to is thapaar ka jawab kab ka de chooka hota tumhe" and so maybe he doesn't expect her to slap him , especially since she's married to him now... we shall see!

thanks for commenting everyone

wow i was realli irritated ith sid's behaviour todai ... but not anymore. ..
i guess he is in a confused state of mind due to riddhima's sudden change of mind... frankly speaking ... even i couldnt believe her behaviour ... especially the fact tht she changed within one day ...
n i think its also very true tht Sid's doing this deliberately...
as much as Riddz and we all want the old Sid back ... i think Sid also wants the old self-obsessed Riddz back ... the one tht he was initially drawn to durin the january episodes though it was initially hatred ...
hope Sid reads her letters soon n tht all their misunderstandings get cleard soon ... 😃
