So since all these days, I've been wondering if Mahi-Ishan are really falling in love. Ishan never really gave it away that he was liking Mahi in that sense (until of course the kiss...) I thought he only liked her as a friend.
And Mahi, she is crazy about Ishan, but does that really mean love? No, I think it's only infatuation. I think the difference between love and infatuation is the difference between loving someone's heart and soul versus loving his physical appearance.
Why I think it's infatuation? The reasons are simple:
-In all these episodes, how many times has she actually mentioned that Ishan's thinking impresses her? (Yes, I know, at their first date after Ishan's comment on food, she thought he was really perfect but other than that does she really think about what kind of person he is?)
-Now compare that to how many times she comments on his looks! Ever since the beginning, she would go crazy over his looks. Even in the last episode, when she couldn't refuse the Thurs. date, she said while talking to God, "Aap nein usse dekha hai na? Of course aap hi nein toh usse banaya hai, it's not my fault, it's your fault!" So it's all about his looks?
-At the dhabba, when Ishan was actually telling her how important this place is for her... He was actually making an attempt to bring her close to his life, right? And what was she thinking about? A kiss?!
-Now, I'm not saying that in love you wouldn't want to be kissed. I guess it's kind of natural to kiss when you're truly in love. My point is that you don't only think about the kiss while you're actually spending quality time with the person you love.
Now, after Mahi-Ishan relationship is revealed to the world, if Ishan is embarrassed, then it would be clear that he had no real interest either. After all, when we truly like/love someone, it doesn't matter what the world thinks of us. Who can really be ashamed of accepting the person he/she loves in front of the world?
