Hey PPP, it was not meant for you.. now that u have written "my husband". it can not be at all for you 😆..
I just wrote about this typical expectation.. not abt u..
Anyway.. on the topic.. I think she said it in pure fun.. no bengali forces others to eat fish.. we r too happy if others do not.. that means more for us..
somehow recently Indian entertaintement has started making fun of bengali culture.. Sanjay Bansali's overdose of the word "ish" in Debdas was a perfect example.. I have never seen anyone using so much (and that too out of the context) "ish" in life time.. and there r many more example like that..
NDTV is following the same path. The customs they showed when Rahul came to Dimpy's house was just plain exaggeration. None does such thing when a potential groom is coming to house. it happens when the groom comes for marriage and that too for much much shorter period..
I am 100% sure NDTV forced Dimpy to make reference to fish and such dialogue.. to create this idiotic backdrop of bengali culture.
She is sensible enough to know that she can not force anyone to change eating habit..(and that too so drastic) and even if she wants, she would definitely not say that on TV and be ready for adverse comment.. Whatever Dimpy is, she is not a fool..

Sorry akash, I assumed you were saying that about me. I understand what you mean now. Yes, there are definitely double standards 😡 in the way men and women are perceived.
Hmm reading what everyone saying I am beginning to feel Nikunj might be his choice. After all, the mom-daadi-sister will prefer Nikunj/Harpreet any day!
