Kathak Dance

I am Big disappited why they were showing sadi was learning kathak dance but huh she dint even do any kathak step i can be wrong or ragi i call this bollywood dance now kathak dance😕 why there were showing all thesw steps in Bidaai than HUH .i am really big disapoitned with the dance. They chose bollywood song and bollywood steps maybe there can be few steps.

Bani correct me i jus watched sadi performace stil dint watched ragi perfoemce yet did she also did katak step or not😕

my dear, every Bollywood dance is based on some sort of classical dance...the chakkars that they were taking is a part of Kathak dance. To master any bollywood number, one needs to learn hand and feet movements as also the graceful movement of the body. Like to sing a bollywood song also, a musician needs to know Raag, Taal etc, that is a classical base is required. If you know ABCD, you can write a simple essay as well as a novel...Classical movements form the base of any dance, even bollywood numbers

coz when i danced i my schol in India i danced on classeial music and i did all katak steps and the chakkars u talkign about

yeh, because thats what is required to cover up their non-training in classical dance and also to make it more entertaining....

Well Sadhna not doing classical dance can be bit understandable as she tried to learn it in 4 days. Ragini otherwise is a trained kathak dancer according to this serial. However she still mixes it with bollywood dance. Parul mentioned in interviews that she learned kathak and bharatnatyam. I am sorry to say..I have learned kathak for 3 years and I hardly recognize any basic step in her dance.

i know even saddhna she cant do al katak dance but she can do some steps i notice ragi did only few steps that step was also not that good
