Is is bad to be selfless?

Could not help but make this post after seeing a lot of people against Sadhana.
I think any parent who wants to imbibe good characters in their kids try to instill "Selflessness" in them.
The person suffering the most will be that person, in Bidaai it is Sadhana.And also she is not claiming anything from anybody for it.
So why is so wrong to be selfless???

Looks like it is bad to be selfless in this Kalyug...going by how everybody treats her (like crap) in and outside the serial.....the message is think first about yourself and only then think about others...it is more important to be REAL than selfless....Being selfless is UNREAL in this age......I think Sadhna is stupid to think and act for people who dont care for her.

But according to me, selfless ppl like sadhna are what this world needs. You probably don't get a reward for being selfless, but i respect & salute all the selfless ppl in the world.
Selfless are the ppl who sacrificed their life to save ours. Selfless are the mothers who dedicate their whole life to nothing but their children. If sadhna is selfless, then what is wrong with tht? Bad ppl get blamed for not thinking bout others and doing bad to them. But when good ppl actually think and care about other's happiness, they become a goody goody. Then what kkind of ppl should there be like in this world, if not like sadhna?

Just hope these golden rules stay green forever, even in Kaliyug!
Or else we will need another avatar of Lord Krishna to be born.😆

Being "Selfless" is a very good quality a quality to be appreciated rather than looked down upon.

No one wants to befriend a Selfish person, this is the quality that you would like to have in your friends and the most selfless person that is your friend you will consider them as you BEST friend and you would boast about them that they can do anything for you without asking for anything in return, you would hardly call any Selfish person as your best friend.

As Sadia said Mothers are one of the best examples of Selfless Love.

Zarmeeno,I wouldn't want to bring in mother to this topic as it will lead to a bigger argument.By the way I am a mother too.
I don't think Sadhana intends to give her self respect.
But as they say all is fair in love and war, she has alwatys crossed the line for people whom she considered her family like Ragini, Mamji, Mamiji.I salute for that.

There is nothing wrong with being selfless as long as your self-respect and dignity is intact, and you don't let people walk all over you.

not only her family...Sadhna is dutiful towards anyone she comes in contact with...very rare species indeed
