so bindi is supposed to tell a religion???? I didnt know that.....
I mean yeah a married Hindu woman usually wears a red round bindi (usually old people).... these days Bindi is a fashion statement..... those fancy bindis.... I guess everyone wears them... I wear them at parties and stuff, I am a sikh..... i have many muslim friends who wear bindi at every function, and I knwo many hindu girls who dont wear them (even married ones)....

I had posted a topic yest (Nikunj Malik) giving more info on her last name which may give insight on her religion. I think she is Jat. They can be punjabi or hindu (north India)......I have a feeling she is north Indian like Rajasthan or something because of the outfit she wore in the cultural dance program. And also, in todays epi she is wearing the sari is orginal gujrati/rajasthan style. But Malik is in the Jat group. she seems like a Rajput to me with her strong attitude..........

Hi just one correction.... you said "They can be punjabi or hindu (north IndiaHindus)" well Punjabis are not a separate religion (sikhism is) , and some hindus can be PUNJABI too... I guess you meant Punjabi Hindus or Haryanvi Hindus.... and JAT are sikh punjabis...... hryanvi hindus are JAAT.

I am not sure either...if you went to my topic I looked up stuff on wiki.........and thats what it said......I was just making a hypothesis........and when I said Punjabi i meant Sikh Jat, sorry about that... and they put Jat or Jaat all in one group...she may be punjabi from north india...who knows....I was just researching out of curiosity and thought I would share.......But she is hindu for sure.....not muslim.
