<div>But I do think her expressions were fab, and she looked so confident while dancing, that she must have been doing something right ;)

You should know the story of "Draupadi vastraapaharan" from Mahabharatha to get the gist of her performance. Many Indians would know that story or if you watched the TV serial Mahabharath you would've watched that scene. but Deep, aren't you from Norway? i know it's hard to connect with these kind of epic stories if you are born outside of India. But you can watch Mahabharath on youtobe if you are keen.

Yes I am soooo proud of Kruti for presenting such a performance. Her expressions were mind blowing but they way she carried those transitions says a lot about this girls ability. Kruti's stance was flawless. The way she enacted the different roles, she deserves to stay for a longer time. And I also applaud to all the three judges for standing up for this beautiful act...

I'm from Norway yea. And I'm not hindu, which makes it even harder to know about the story 😳
But thanks for the suggestion :)

Draupadi was the wife of Pandavas, the five sons of Pandu and Kunthi Devi... The Kauravas (100 sons of Dhrtarastra and Gandhari) were enemies of the Pandavas, as both were after the throne of Hastinapuri... Both Dhrtarastra and Pandu were brothers. The Kauravas conned the oldest Pandava Yudhishtira to play a dice game, and Shakuni (Duryodhana's uncle - Duryodhana is the oldest of the Kauravas) played for Kauravas, against Yudhishtira, the oldest of the Pandavas... Yudhishtira loses all his wealth, then his kingdom to the game, as Shakuni was very good in cheating in the dice game. He then even gambles his brothers, himself, and finally his wife into servitude. The jubilant Kauravas insult the Pandavas in their helpless state and even try to disrobe Draupadi in front of the entire court, but her honour is saved by Lord Krishna who miraculously creates lengths of cloth to replace the ones being removed.

So Kruti did the part from the dice game - doing both Shakuni's and Yudhishtira's roles, and then as Dushasana (second oldest of the Kauravas), as Draupadi, and as Lord Krishna... So five roles in one act... So if you know the story, you can see how she transformed to each role - very smooth transitions, wonderful expressions... All done in 2-3 minutes too!

Hope this helps, Deep.... 😃

^^^ Thank you, Lachu!! 😳 So sweet of you... šŸ¤—

I was wondering how to say the story in a few words, but somehow I managed - I skipped the details, and hopefully the condensed version is enough.. Since we know the story, it will be okay for us, but for someone who doesnt know, they might need more details... 😊
