Mumbai: Model-turned television actress Kuljeet Randhawa, who became popular for her role in the suspense serial Kohinoor, reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her single-room apartment in Suburban Juhu on Wednesday night.

Twenty-five year old Kuljeet was found hanging from the ceiling by her maid who informed the police about the incident, police said.

The 2001 Gladrags model was staying alone and was perhaps suffering from depression for the past few days, police sources said.



"A suicide note, apparently written by Kuljeet and recovered near her body, said she was ending her life as she was tired of it", a Juhu police officer said.

The note also said that nobody should be blamed for her (Kuljeet's) decision, the officer added.

Dr VN Tasgaonkar at Cooper Hospital, where the autopsy was conducted, said, "From my examination it looks apparently a case of hanging".

Kuljeet worked in serials 'Hip Hip Hurray', 'Cats', 'Special Squad' and was recently working in a feature film.

ya i heard that news on tv..ofcourse its sad..alll her house members were in shock...she was going through some depression thats why she committed a suicide. and i also heard that she came in that serial years back called hip hip hurray...it was a college students based serial...it was really good.
