So, Geeta seems to judge a person's versatility based on whether he/she can pull of a classical dance. Fair enough. But, my question is why hasn't she made Binny do a pure classical number yet?? Not once but twice, she has commented that Shakti should do a pure classical dance but neither Binny nor Teena were made to do that. One certainly should practise what they preach😳

Exaclty SAS, well written...Geeta Maa gets emotional on the word classical, but wasn't she the one who eliminated Amrita in the auditions... I think Geeta Maa waited for Amrita to come back, cos only she can do full justice to the act...binny might have some flaws in the dance and Geeta def doesn't want that to happen...

this tym I think shakti will do a semi classical dance..lets hope..that gal got the talent and can carry any dance form gracefully.

^ agree with u Tanaaz... Shakti can do any form and this time I think she will do well... Just hope Geeta Maa jsut for the heck of finding a flaw doesn't criticize her.... anywyas the audience knows best, if she does well we know whom to vote...

Yes SAS, Geeta is "I want to see Classical from you" to Shakti all the time, while she never shows classical acts for her team... Terence shows Contemporary acts for his team because that's hos forte, and Remo shows Hip-hop acts for his team as that's his forte. Geeta's forte is supposed to be Classical, but she never shows it for her own team!! And she wants someone who is not trained in Classical to do one so that she can use her "Classical" tag to find all faults with them and rip them apart in front of the viewers!! I know Shakti can pull off any form and do them all perfectly, and I am sure both Terence and Shakti will give a good answer to her this week, through their work and not by any drama or outpouring of words!! Yes, Shakti should do a Classical and make Geeta mute now!! Go Shakti!!!!!!!!!!! Go Terence!!!!!!!!!!

Just b/c I go around claiming & carrying this tag of "Classical Dance is my Forte" does not mean didly 😆 Geeta show me your stuff girl b4 asking other grp to perform...Whatz up with that....Grrrrrrrr

Even after them seeing Classical dance from TKT GK and RD will have something -Ve to say I promise...

Geeta's forte is plain and simple Bollywood and not Classical. She talks loud about Classical Dancing but I doubt how much trained(on a level of expertise) she herself is. I have seen her fusion act of "Desi Girl" in Season 1 Final. Anyday Kruti would put her to shame. She picks this-that classical/folk forms from different part of India aur apni participants par "bithati" hain. None so far seemed to have given a flawless one(even a fusion with Bolllywood) from her team. Only Amrita might save her face.

There you said it!! 👏 I also feel the same... I think she might have taken some lessons in Manipuri or something, but that's it. I dont think she has much knowledge of Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali and all... Even when she made Siddhesh do a Kuchipudi last season, he had several flaws but Remo and Terence were not Classical experts and so appreciated his efforts. BTW, I always liked Siddhesh, but I had to give his example as he was the only one in GKG.. Then when Geeta made him do Kathak, his footwork was wrong and didnt go with the beats.. But Siddhesh has the stage presence which is so good... Same with Kathakali, though I admire how Siddhesh and Sunita did their best to pull it off with the limited knowledge they had... I think Siddhesh did some research on it that he kept his big toes upwards like it's done in Kathakali and I remember Terence commented on that as a great job - Terence noticed that and I was so surprised that he knew about it!! I think when it comes to South Indian Classical and folk, Terence knows more even though that's not his forte, but he seems to have acquired a lot of knowledge in those forms...

Bravo for showing Geeta in true light 👏 I am soooooooooo with you....I do have hopes from Amrita...I want her to do well and give competition to her rivals from other teams 😃

And it is most of our(Janta's), Masters and GM ignorance about Classical dance has made her queen of classical dance.
