After this week, if anyone had any doubts as to the awesomeness of the Modi brothers, they had to have been cleared by the amazing performance of Mr. Karan Wahi.
While I missed Abhikins here, he was busy skiing in the Swiss Alps with Armaan. The tickets couldn't be cancelled at such short notice, but they did send a sweet card and flowers to Sid and Riddhima.
Back to my original point of my post, Abhi has always been a very logical and straightforward character. From the moment he first stepped onto the screen in DMG, he was all business and no-nonsense. Which was what Sanjeevani needed at the time. Not to mention amazing style. Of course, as time went on, he became more than that, he helped Riddhima in the charity show, he saved Nikita a number of times, and he saved Sanjeevani from losing a very important intern called Siddanth Modi.
Sid, when he first came to the screen, was a happy-go-lucky guy who was content with his Playstation, his stereo and his superhero tee shirts. The guy was all about having a good time and looking down his nose at others. You wondered how he could be related to a macho dude like Abhi. But then, the way he came back to help Tams in her hour of need and save her career, how he moved to the chawl and left his cozy house, and the way he has been there for Naina as a friend and said goodbye to Tamanna when she got married, this guy has come a long way. Not to mention, trading in his crewneck cotton shirts for the classic UB shirts sported by most of the guys. Not only has his style changed, but his character as well. He slowly but surely started to fill the big shoes left by Abhimanyu. And that transformation was complete when he saved Riddhima's life and told her off for how she was acting. Yeah, he isn't an IOTM, he hasn't finished his internship yet, but he cares about her and he cares about what it would do to her parents if they saw her like that. The episode was one in which he showed his true colours and they were all brilliant.
