Katrina's new social mission

Katrina Kaif is changing the way people look at her. Her image as a Bollywood siren has been well established, but the actress is now looking at how she can contribute to social causes and issues. Katrina is now trying to tie the brands that she endorses with charitable trusts so she can make a difference to society, as well as entertain the masses.

A leading diamond brand recently tied up Relief Projects India, a charitable organisation closely associated with Katrina's mother Susanna. This brand is apparently donating close to Rs 50 lakh and many other brands that Kat endorses are contemplating following in their footsteps. Katrina is determined to set standards, not just as an actress, but also as a great human being.

Katrina is picky about her projects

After riding the wave of success, Katrina Kaif has now decided to become more selective. The picky actress is on a script-rejecting spree right now as she wants to do only "meaningful roles."
After doing a film like Rajneeti, Kats is said to be looking out for unique roles. It comes as no surprise then that she has opted out of many big banner films. First it was Sanjay Gadhvi's 7 Days in Paris, then she said no to Anees Bazmee's Thank You. More recently, she opted out of Abbas-Mastan's remake of Italian Job.
The reason — the length of her role. It is rumoured that Kats wanted the director duo to make some changes to her role as well as in the story, which she did not find too appealing.
