Nakul is not really concerned about Simi. When Daadi says Nakul-Simi rishta wont happen if Neetu says no to Omi, he nodded his head in affirmative indicating ..Yes i abide by Daadi's rule. So if Neetu would have said no to Omi in an otherwise normal situation, automatically, Nakul wont be marrying Simi. He was not bothered about Simi or who else he is going to marry.
