Time to focus on other neighbouring nations?

I think GoI should now start investing more time and energy into developing relations further with other neighbouring nations; Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma (Myanmar) and our big neighbour China (yes China is a neighbour but we kind of never realise it)...let us improve trade and other relationship with these countries, let us have more cultural exchanges.

And what happened to our "Look East" policy that was supposed to be put in action years ago.

Yes, I agree, especially other needy countries like Mynamar and Bhutan. India has already kinda established Bhutan and should help Nepal even more. Unfortunately, drug cartels from Nepal live a dent with relations between Nepal and India. China, instead, should help us too, instead of mocking our space technology by saying that it's a decade behind of them. And wha about Maldives? Isn't Maldives our neighbouring country too(even though it's located in the sea)?

Yeah forgot about Maldives. We should not take anyone granted and treat everyone with respect. Regarding China, I hope the border issue is sorted out quickly for everyone's satisfaction. If that happens trade can be conducted at Indo-China border esp benefiting our border states.

Regarding China mocking at our space capabilities, actually it was a Chinese defense expert who was commenting on our missile capabilities. Yes we are behind them in missile technology, they have had ICBMs since decades and we are yet to test a single ICBM.

Read this article, he isn't saying any anti-India thing infact he seems quite logical in his views regarding Indo-China relations.

But they can still help us instead of criticizing us, can't they? (China) And yes, this Sikkim-Arunchal dispute hem between thas to stop, otherwise it'll become another Pakistan.

When it comes to goodwill India is far ahead of countries like China and India....it doesn't matter what these countries have to say about India...
