Yes, I watched it. At the beginning, the movie was going good and was portraying some pretty strong messages that there are only 2 kinds of people: good and bad. But then it became too nagging and unreal. I was like "Get to the point already!!!" The ending should've been better; IMO. Actually they tried to incorporate too much in 2-odd hours and as a result, everything got a by jumbled up in the end. SRK's acting was good and Kajol was wonderful too. It was an over-hyped movie and hasn't fully lived up to it's expectations. There were a few other hidden messages like try, try again and you shall overcome. The movie also nullified the misconceptions that all Muslims are bad and went further into the principles of Islam.

I managed to see it, finally. Though there was a 'bandh' call in my city, thankfully people chose to ignore it. My advance tickets booked in 'platinum' category of a multiplex were not wasted!!!

This was one of SRK's finest performances. Honestly, I always counted him as a 'star' and not an 'actor'. But now, he falls into my favourite 'actors' category as well. His body language and the unfocussed eyes were too good and realistic. It is nice to see 'star' actors experimenting with such roles and not acting 'macho' all the time.

IMO, Kajol was only 80% of her usual self. I liked her in KKHH much more than this.
The movie was overall ok, but the sight of a young boy being bullied in school and eventually being killed by his schoolmates somehow upset me a lot. And yeah...there was some amount of dragging in some places....that's Karan Johar style...we are used to it now.

After Tare Zameen Pe,everytime someone says their child has a developmental issue, the teachers ask does he like to draw?
After MNIK I think that will change to "Does he like to fix things?"

It's strictly an ok movie, doesn't live upto the hype. The second half drags, quite boring at times, and some scenes are just cringeworthy. SRK's performance is good, he acts well. Watch it if you're an SRK fan, or don't go in with high expectations.
