.MJHT Cvs are threading a really sensitive issue.....so i really really hope they dont make a tamasha out of it.......
some of youll may think that something like a girl being stabbed my an eve teaser is fiction-unfortunately it isnt!
they have been many cases-girls being stabbed, acid being throw in them
it happened to actress kangana ranauts sister,an eve teaser threw acid on her face...her face got disfigured.
you must have hears about the priadarshini matoo case too......i know of a girl who was threatened by an eve teaser at knife point.....
its a really really sad issue that is happening-and the surprising thing is that such eve teasers always target shy girls who look like they wouldnt satnd up for them selfs-thats the reason why it happend to gunjan and not Nupur......
a request to the cvs....now that you are taking such aserious issue in MJHT please dont make a tamasha out of it-many girls lifes have been ruined because of this.....
thanks for reading and do try to help someone if you see eve teasing taking place
thanks
shruti

shruti i agree with you but this is just to change the track nothing else i believe
IF they want to show something out of this they can definately show how girls can come out of this like self depending and all the things
Then it would be nice

Good topic Shruti.
I hope they craft this track really well and show us a real message.
Eve teasing is such a bad thing. You know and its purely disgusting. I was walking home from school one day (am 16) and a few LITTLE BOYS maybe 7-8-9 years old they teased me from their horse cart. It was so disgusting🤢🤢 and gross🤢🤢
I glared at them (so much of Nupur in me)😡😡 really hard, my glares can be extremely scary, and they turned back and went away.
It's always so disgusting that guys think that they can perform such grotesque actions and get away with it. Have you ever seen a bunch of rowdy girls harass an innocent boy? No! That's because we know where to set the limits.
It's a very disgusting thing. And also whenever you get out of the house in a jeans and a kurti people stare at you as if you are walking around in a bikini, and as in people I mean those cheap men. And in the USA you don't get such stares even you walk fully naked🤢 on the roads.
It shows how perverted minds can be.

I wish they utilise this opportunity and craft it really well. And I hope when they decide to go back to the masti track, they make the transition smooth and slow opposed to quick and immediate, which would see very unrealistic.

Well written Shruti and i would really like to thank you from my heart to bring such a topic in open . And ofcourse dear even i too hope that the cv's really bring a sensible topic out of this. I was very upset on reading many posts here in which most of us thought that Gunjan will die or something like that , but your topic will definitely make them think. I hope it will be a satisfaction to them. Even i too have faced eve-teasing and i do know to the core how terrifying it is and how one incident can change our life. It was the first time i felt that being born and to live a life of a girl is not that easy and after that particular incident i've made myself very strong both mentally as well as on the physical point of view,.. Today i'm married and i've a small girl and from the very first day of her toddler days i made it a point to make her more independent.
Thanks Shruti........ for posting such a topic.👏

And yes, to the person above me, you are right. It's the job of the parents to make their girls independant and strong like Nupur!

Very good post Shruti ... agree with you 100% ...

and I hope the cv's, now that they are taking up this issue, don't just leave it at Gunjan getting hurt and Samrat saving her ... but try to show how girls should handle this problem, because it really is a big issue ... girls travelling by local train get harrassed, acid throwing, gangs of guys passing snide remarks ... and they coolly say - the girl was asking for it - that really gets my goat 😡 😡 😡

Please cv's ... handle this with care and sensitivity ... and plz show that girls CAN deal with this ... even ... I should say especially shy, timid girls like Gunjan, because they are the kind who are usually targetted.

I agree Diya! It shouldn't just be about the SG love, but also about eveteasing as a serious issue.

very good topic shruti...well written.

eve teasing is indeed a very serious issue. and lot of ppl think its just a harmless thing. but as you mentioned it has serious results..
If you remember abt 12 years back, in Chennai there was a case of a girl sarika shah who died due to an accident resulting from eve easing. it resulted in stricter laws WRT eve-teasing. even a couplew of years back a student in delhi died due to eve teasing.

Talking of mjht, i dont ve much hopes from its writers... still wish they handle this issue sensitively and not melodramatically.
