Just my thoughts on what's going to happen today (or tomorrow if they drag it like always).
Especially Shanky's character has been questioned. I don't think he's a bad guy, he's just normal. After Ridz left him on the basketball court crying, telling him he's not a good dad, and now she tells him she can't trust him etc - that's bound to affect him isn't it? If you watched DMG from the start, you know how much Shanky cares for Riddz, and how he's never treated her as an adopted child. Just cause he's not running around with Riddz trying to find Armaan, doesn't make him a bad person! He doesn't think Armaan is a bad person for her daughter (well, not anymore..), but under the circumstances, he can't let Riddz go insane looking for him either..
Okay, so what's happened so far is that Shanky gets mad at Sid thinking he raped his daughter, and how he trusted him to help, but he made the matter worse. He loves his daughter and that's why he's now furious and wants to make Sid's life a living hell.
Later, AFTER getting the test results, maybe even by listening to Sid (and maybe Atul đ¤), he'll realise Sid's not to blame. He did not rape Ridz, and that's when he'll get angry at Ridz for unnecessarily making it such a big issue. If I'm not wrong Dr. Kirti and Shanky talked about how all the stuff happening nowadays had affected Sanjeevani? He don't see the point in ruining what's left of Sanjeevani's good reputation by blaming one of the doctors. I doubt any patient will want to get checked by Sid now.. Somewhat like when Armaan was arrested.
And when Ridz then says that she can't trust Shanky, and that he hasn't been a good father for her etc, it's quite obvious he'll react on that too. If he hasn't been a good father, what miracles has she done being his daughter? He's worked so hard to make Sanjeevani what it is, and what has it turned into now? I'm not saying it's entirely Ridz's fault, but accusing one of your co workers without proof won't help the reputation of the hospital. Trying to shield her from the thruth didn't help, so let her face it!
Don't ask where the shaadi track comes in. Maybe that's some sort of last way out as Shanky sees it? I don't know.. Or maybe Shanky knows that Armaan won't get better, and to give his daughter a chance to be happy, he want her to get married before she gets more pagal? Ridz realises she hasn't been the 'ideal' daughter, and agrees to do as he says, but leaves when he goes to the extent of telling her to marry someone else then Armaan.
So, all in all, Shanky's not a bad person YET. He's just hurt after all the things Riddz have said to him.
The post's allready longer then expected, so I'll stop here..
Your views? Am I trying to put way to much logic in an illogical show? đ
