Kunwar - Shakti: Fantastic!!

I am really loving this couple. Their performances together have been outstanding and they share good chemistry. I am hoping Terrence makes them do some Salsa number like the one with Jai-Alisha last season or some fast number. I don't remember seeing Kunwar in the auditions but for someone whose untrained the guy is fantastic, really has a desire to learn and under Terrence's mentorship will definitely go places.

The fisrt audition of Kunwar was this style of dancing, so it's not a completely new thing for him as you think. It is only that he is not trained enough like Shakti that's why she always looks better than him in both dances.

And I don't know why Terence keeps saying that though others are not trained but perform well as well

Anyway, all dancers are not trained yet perform very well, except for Shakti, Punit, Nikki. those who I remember.

yeah i really liked them too...u need alot of strength to the rope dance...Shakti was amazing...still i feel i expected a bit more...but overall good

Not true. I think you will find most if not all dancers are trained.😉

Last season everyone had some sort of training-Alisha, Vrushali, Salman, Jai, Mayuresh,..etc. The only one who I remember not having any formal training is sunita and that showed in her dance. (and maybe noni too)

Remember Teena saying that "yaha sabh trained hain, sirf main hi trained dancer nahi ho".

Kunwar performs very well considering he hasn't had that sort of training in dance. This is why I genuinely believe that Terence has worked wonders with him! This is also the reason why Kunwar keeps thanking Terence and telling him that he won't let him down after all the hard work TL has put in to make Kunwar the dancer he is. (which I think was really sweet of Kunwar to say😳)

I mean can you seriously not tell that Kruti is trained in Indian classical? (solo performance in elimination round😉) Binny too took training when she got rejected last year from DID1 and came back quite strong after learning various dance styles. These guys aren't just born being naturally talented dancers, it takes yers of training to do what they do. Bhavna too is trained-I think they mentioned that during one of her earlier audition round performances. Last year, there was info about who was trained where on the DID site. The only person who did not reveal where they were trained was Jai I think (because I don't think he wished to take Shiamak Davar's name or something like that). I hope they do the same this year so we have a chance to see where they have all been trained.

Kunwar and Shakti are awesome
when i saw their khuda ganey it reminded me of Salman-Khushboo's soniyo
to me Kunwar is like Salman and looks like Salman(winner of DID) too

Shakti & kumar r undoubtedly d best jodi so far.....der 1st per. Khuda jane was by far d best per.....Tarrence'z toli is my fav. so I am really happy that dis 2 r in tarrence toli ......I wish them al d best....n longing to c more of dem.

You're on! I am loving the two of them together! They suit each other, not only when they dance, but just being alongside each other they look pretty nice if you ask me! I hope the two of them go far, I'd love to see more of them! ;)

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH U when i see Amar [Kuwar] i always think of Salman ^__^ he has that same stage presence as him and the way he does his duets is totally salman like

that being said i love salman and there isny ever going to another one of him

Yes, Amar-Shakti has awesome magic on stage!! Shakti is a trained dancer from TLCDC, but Kunwar is not a trained dancer, but self-trained in a couple of styles. Same for Parvez too - he is also untrained. Kruti is a trained Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam dancer. Everyone in GKG and RKR are trained in at least one style...
