Hi guys
As a married woman myself, I just came up with contrasting scenarios between AR married life and SR married life. Please feel free to comment but remember this is written in good humor....no bashing please😊
MARRIAGE SCENARIOS
AR:
TWO YEARS AFTER MARRIAGE:
Riddhima had just returned from work. She had a late evening at the delivery room. After having taken care of the baby boom at Sanjeevani, she was glad to home at last. Since she had become in charge of the labor and delivery room, she barely had time to eat, sleep or even spend time with her beloved husband, Dr. Armaan Malik. Armaan was now the assistant chief of surgery, but unlike his workaholic wife, always managed to keep his life balanced between work and home.
"Armaan, where are you jaan?" She threw her purse and keys on the coffee table and looked around for him. Since they had gotten married, her day would be incomplete if it did not start or end with a glimpse of her handsome husband. Tonight, she needed him more than ever. Her aching bones and heels yearned for his magical touch.
"Mmm," Armaan walked in wearing an apron, butler's hat and a spatula in hand, "come taste this soup I just made. You will love it."
"Tum aur kitchen mein? Where is the maid?" She was surprised to see her husband in that attire.
"Arre arre naaraz kyun hoti ho jaane man," he grabbed her by her waist and planted a kiss on her forehead, "tum hi ne tho aaj uski delivery ki thi na? I guess it'd be hard for a woman who has just delivered a baby to cook our dinner tonight?"
Riddhima broke out into a smile and rested her head on Armaan, "uffo jaan'all this work is making me crazy. Of course, how could I forget? Chalo main kuch banaati hoon."
"Don't you trust my culinary skills?" Armaan pouted and pulled her closer.
"Not really," teasingly, she kissed his chest.
"Then why don't you be my cooking instructor tonight? Dono saath saath mein khaana banaate hain," he lifted her in his arms and carried her to the kitchen.
"Na baba na'remember last time when we tried to cook poories together?"
"Keerti ma'am ki shaadi mein?" He grinned mischievously.
"Yes'remember? Poori kum, aur romance zyaada hua tha. Ab sirf romance se pait nahin bharta. I need real food, samjhey?" She chuckled and slid off his arms, "jao, tum table set karo, I will cook some pullao right away."
"Kaun kehta hai sirf romance se pait nahin bharta?" He grabbed her from behind and nuzzled against her neck, "lagta hai tumhara kisi real romantic se paala nahin padha hai jaaneman."
"Ouch Armaan!" She giggled, "chalo chodo bhi ab. Let me cook baba." She continued to pour rice into a pan and was about to add some water when Armaan held her by her wrists.
"Now it's a question of my reputation Dr. (Mrs) Riddhima Malik!" He continued to caress and kiss her, "now it's an all out war between romance and food. I am sure you wouldn't want your dear hubby to lose."
Riddhima blushed and flushed as his amorous words and touch roused her passions. She forgot the pan, the rice, the pullao and how famished or tired she was. She let out a loud groan and flung her arms around his neck, "not at all'.after all I am a dedicated wife who hates to see her hubby lose."
"That's like my wife," he carried her in his arms once again, this time to the couch, their escape from the humdrum of day to day life, their panacea for all their exhaustion and hard work.

CONTRAST SCENARIO WITH SR:
TWO YEARS AFTER MARRIAGE:
Riddhima had just returned from work. She had a late evening at the delivery room. After having taken care of the baby boom at Sanjeevani, she stepped into her house. Since she had become in charge of the labor and delivery room, she barely had time to eat, sleep or spend time with her husband, Dr. Siddhant Modi. Siddhant was now a senior resident doctor at Sanjeevani, but was always home before his workaholic wife. Of course, Riddhima loved her profession, but it seemed like she spent more time at the hospital than she needed to.
She threw her purse and keys on the coffee table and looked around for the maid.
"Aaj yeh kanta bai kahan chali gayi? I have a bad headache. I would have loved a cup of tea."
"Ek cup chai madam'sirf aapke liye," Sid walked in with a hot cup of tea.
"Thanks Sid!" She smiled faintly and took the cup from him, "Where is the maid? Why did you have to make the tea?"
"Tum hi ne tho aaj uski delivery ki thi na? I guess it'd be hard for a woman who has just delivered a baby to make tea for you?" Sid tried to cheer her up.
Riddhima just frowned and smacked her head with her palm, "uffo'all this work is making me crazy. Of course, how could I forget?"
"I have cooked dinner for both of us. Yahin le aaun?" Sid asked hesitantly, "tumhare sir mein dard ho raha haina'issliye pooch raha tha?"
"That's okay Sid. Actually, I had dinner at the cafeteria in the hospital," she placed the empty cup of tea down and then stood up, "why don't you eat Sid. I think I will call it a night. I have an early morning start tomorrow."
"Oh..okay Riddhima," Sid lowered his face, disappointed that once again his lovely wife preferred to stay aloof rather than spend any time with him.
"Good night Sid!" She caressed his cheek softly and turned around to go to bed.
