Hahahaha...I couldn't stop laughing when Remo asked Shakti to do different styles after a fabulous performance. Although I agree in substance, I would like to see Shakti doing other stuff (not classical so Gita Ma can tear her apart on purpose)...but Remo had Prince do L-P for an entire season. he miserably failed when he ONCE tried to do something else. Now he's being so hypocritical. I am liking Remo this season, he hasn't gotten as arrogant as last season, but I hope he sees both sides of the coin going forward.

Was it me, or were all three judges a bit too critical yesterday? I guess they're all trying to protect their team from last ouster from by GM, before public voting kicks in. But it seems that Geeta with all her nasty comments went too far (like telling Remo that he does good concepts and occasionally does choreo too...its obnoxious, beyond defensive)...but it seems like Remo and Terrence were retaliating a bit too much.

Oh one more thing. It's really irritating how Geetama keeps referring to "Amar" Kunwar the dancing genius as chichora (how demeaning). I'm glad yesterday GM "renamed" him Amar, for his birth and his untrained dancing gene-ius. I hope Amar sticks, instead of Geetama's attempts to pull down other team members, especially good dancers who seem to threaten her.

I perhaps agree with the Prince part. But I don't think I really agree at all with this second post of yours. Geeta has always seemed to love him since day one, and never in an attempt to put him down. Everyone loves Kunwar (sorry, I really love that name, I prefer calling him so) and so does she. In fact, on the contrary, I felt she loved Kunwar with the vibes she was giving out for him, she even kissed him yesterday.😕 She loves calling him chichora just for the fun of it, not to demean him or anything. She calls him that, because even as Shakti said the other day, he loves teasing everyone, especially the girls on the show from his Toli. 😕

On the other hand though, he sure is excellent. Someone untrained yet so skilled and almost flawless in nearly all his performances. Hats off to the guy! 😳

I'd like to clarify am no fan of Geeta Kapoor as such, not even in the slightest way to be true.

But what is true is true. Its pretty obvious she never did it to demean him. In fact, I think he knows she really likes him too, he's always smiling when Geeta is about to comment!

It is DID2, it is 2010, different decade, different set of dancers. If you you still want to compare then let me tell you Prince was never considered top 5 although he was best in LP, by that comparison Shakti should not belong to top 3 at least.
Will you accept that Shakti does not belong to top 3 because she is doing same thing again and again as Prince did? We should be fair with what we say or think.

Here comes the same thing again! 😕

Shakti, even though repeating the 100th time I do accept am no dance teacher, did at least: Contemporary, Bollywood, Hip Hop, Urban Style. At least they were different styles from each other. They were quite near to each other yes, but it was not always just popping and locking like Prince did. And wasn't Prince in the top 6 or am I mistaken? We haven't even reached there as far as I remember, so perhaps we could just wait that little bit before judging. 😕

Also, I do state I want to see her in more varied styles, completely different from each other. Who's contesting that? But Remo saying the same thing he didn't stick to previous season is quite a joke to be true! 😕 How would you justify THAT?

Also, please don't say I don't like Prince or otherwise that's why I am saying this, I was a huge fan of Prince since his audition day. I loved the guy even if I haven't watched season 1 in its integrality. He's perhaps the only one I've watched videos of nearly all dances of. So that tells you the extent to which I loved watching him move and dance. But Remo using his "sheali" as he stated for Shakti, was something he did last season to keep Prince for quite long, it is seriously funny of him to criticize Terence for doing the same. Or at least try to in a sort of way, even if I do agree with him on certain parts of it.

Similarly, when a Master says something. he should stick to it as well, no matter what season or student.

Forems I agree that when she said the word Chichora, the first thing came to my mind was, is he a flirt and tries to pull some tricks on girls or what...cos till now I have always heard that word in relation to such acts...maybe Geeta Maa likes him and uses it in whatever context but I don't like that word used on him...Secondly I had a hearty laugh when Remo said SEASON 1 se we have been trying not to give the contestants their forte instead givent hem something they haven't done...haha...Prince had done nothing but LnP and if he attepted once something different he put LnP in that too...and now he is telling Shakti to do something different when Prince throught the DID safar did only LnP, for Shakti she still has time to show us something different, its not like she is in the last four week and is still done contemporary... I would like to see different dances for sure and I know she will be showing us her versatility...but Remo talking that is like Pot calling the kettle Black.. Hypocrisy at its best...

Red tag should be applied to Terence too, when he used to criticize Prince last yesr and supporting non-versatility this year in case of Shakti. Title of this thread should include Terence too if poster talking about Remo. Be fair.
Dont say me those were different style, all steps she took are similar. Same hand movements, same legs movement, same bending, same hanging. You have your opinion and you look with that. I say what I see on screen. As I said Shakti can not do hip-hop, her personality does not suit that then Terence came up with something in like urban hip hop where she can be comfortable. Problem is even Terence can not do anything if his contestants can not do other type of dance but yes he should not defend that. It is not problem of Terence only, this year we have very mediocre dancers, last year we had one Prince this year have all Prince with exception of couple. Some are not trying other form at all, some who tried other form had failed, only couple of them could do justice with all form of dance they did. It was Pervez and Binny but unfortunately Pervez is out. Last year we had Salman, Jai, Mayurish, Siddhesh, Alisha who always tried different dances and were reasonably very good in all forms. I do not deny that Prince was non-versatile although he was the best in that even better than his teacher. But he was never in top 5 even in my list. But Shakti is in top 3 even in my list, and she can easily be my first choice if she does other type of dance. Till now whatever she did were beautiful and almost flawless and remain fully honest with what was given to her.

So why did Geeta Ma not ask Bhavna and Binny to do a classical?? Why only Shakti needs to do a classical to prove her versatility?😳 Why arent the guys being encouraged to do classical?? Why does none ask Nikki to do a contemporary/ salsa or whatever?
Its always Terence's students Vs the rest. Same standards just dont apply😊

Well, its all about being 'politically correct' , when the best contestant is put down it makes it so much easier for the others to stand out.
