i mailed gautam hegde about the show is going off air or not and he said:

i know it is a sad news but it is true that we are winding up. we are grateful to all our fans for being such a nice audience. your mails would really encourage us. and we will wind up the show on a happy note.
all good things come to an end. and it is not true that there was any tiff between the prod house and the channel, as some of you are assuming.
its best a show winds up when the audience likes it, rather than it go to a point where they feel its going haywire.
we must admit that we had a great team- cast and crew wise. we have all learnt a lot from the show, made friends, had fun memories and have been able to tell a nice love story, which you all seem to have enjoyed.
and we hope you all support us all each individually in our future endeavors.
