Multi Screen Media's light entertainment channel, SAB TV managed to better its position last week by coming inches of surpassing NDTV Imagine in the fifth position of Hindi entertainment channels in India.
As BizAsia.co.uk reported earlier this week, Indian viewership data for Week 1, HSM, CS4+ from TAM showed only a difference of 1 GRP separating NDTV Imagine (fifth) and SAB TV (sixth). NDTV Imagine could only muster in 86 GRPs, while SAB TV impressed by grabbing a record 85 GRPs.
In a tongue-in-cheek response to these statistics, SAB TV sent a mailing shot to press and advertisers mocking NDTV Imagine's new position. See below.
