My review of Love from the Sidelines--- Mariam x

Yes, I have read it.. and what a book it was. Am not just saying that.. it was like I was Sam- And boy I have been, I have never read a book that related to my own feelings of love so perfectly. Mayank Anand did an awesome job of writing from a women's POV- I completely forgot who was the author and became engrossed in the 'diary of thoughts of Sam'-- And its funny, coz it seemed like every feeling she was expressing for Jim was what I have felt....was like a mirror.

- Theres so much I would love to quote and talk about as so much points even made me feel emotional. Some words I even asked MA about but others I won't spoil here. Will discuss later. All I can say is that.. Sam's emotions of unconditional love to being loved and the pain of being pushed to the 'sidelines' -- her emotions changing throughout the book was overwhelming.. especially a part where she was angry.. and hurt.. that moment and all those words got to me badly as well.

- Mayank, one word for you mister is.. Mr Multi-talented! I honestly didn't think this book would effect me like it did.. but boy it made me laugh, look back into my own experience, LOVE, and cry... But most importantly it helped me to 'understand' how people can be-- and that we all who have loved or will love.. know what this means. I want to THANK YOU.. for writing such a book.. As I love books.. and now I can read this book even when I am old and wrinkly.. (As I keep my loved books forever.. ) And read it again and again.. as I look back once again.

I recommend this for everyone to read-- for some it may be something which will take time to understand if not experienced and the way it is written..-- But the understanding will surely come. Its written from the heart (which I can tell...MA you have deffo brought yourself in this book ) So read it.

On another note- Mayank- I also loved the acknowledgements part in the end..
And cannot wait for the 2nd book Conversations With The Moronic Genius!!

Will be reading again......
