An 11-year-old girl sustained minor injuries after she was hit by the car in which Bollywood actor Salman Khan was travelling to the venue of a programme in Bhandara, about 60-km from here, today.
However, no report has been lodged with the police by the girl's parents.
Khan stopped the car after the accident and took the girl (Pranjali Kesalkar) her home. He then accompanied the girl and her parents to the Government Hospital in Bhandara. It was learnd it was learnt.
The actor also took the family along to the venue of the programme where he was scheduled to perform along with other Bollywood personalities.
Moved by Salman's gesture, Pranjali's father is said to have decided not to pursue the matter further. Earlier, reports about the accident were described as rumours.
