Part 1
---Dhani is about to take the flower from Amber when Sarla comes in calling Sakki. Dhani goes up to Amber and says, you were only playing that you were asleep so that i would complimet you? And here you are, you go me a beautiful flower? She takes the flower from him, Amber and Dhani stare at each other. Sarla goes to Dhani and tells her to hold the flower, Dhani stares sadly at Amber. Sarla tells her, i just want you to hold it and I will take it back, Dhani takes it. Sarla takes out a chain and says, my mother brought this chain for me, will you fix it? Dhani nods and tries to take it. Sarla says, no if you hold it you will lose it, I will put it around your neck, when you fix it give it back. Dhani tries to protest, Sarla is about to put it around her neck when Taiji yells her name. Sarla jumps away from Dhani scared, she quickly puts on her goongat on her head. Taiji angrily comes to Sarla and grabs the chain, she says, Sarla you are like a princess putting on a expensive chain on a nakurani. Amber looks at Dhani sadly. Sarla tries to explain, Taiji says, don't gift the nakur and make them feel high. Amber glares angrily at Taiji and leaves.
---Madhu is doing the morning pooja, Avinash is in the room on the phone. Sarla's mom comes in and angrily yells her name. She walks up to Madhu and puts the goongat over her head, she says, a woman should always have their head covered so the look like a good and sanskari. Though i have seen you sanskar. Madhu tries to explain, Sarla's mom interrupts her, I know you do not believe in this but we do so do not uncover your head around us and keep your eyes down! She leaves, Avinash looks at Madhu sympathetically, Madhu looks angry.
---Dhani is grinding peppers outside, she sneezes. Amber is walking down the stair way thinking with an upset look. He looks around the house and finds Dhani sneezing and coughing, he looks at her sadly. He turns away and thinks.
Part 2
---Amber sees Taiji coming down the stairs, he smiles and starts to sneeze. Taiji comes to him worried and asks what is wrong, he continues to sneeze. Amber tells Taiji, this pepper is bothering me a lot. Taiji calls another nakur and leads Amber to sit on the couch. Taiji tells the nakur, go to the girl and tell her to stop grinding peppers and to come here quick! Taiji goes to bring Amber water, Amber listens as the nakur tells Dhani to stop grinding peppers and to go to Taiji. Taiji gives Amber water, she yells at Dhani, from now on no more grinding of peppers, masala, or anything will happen in this house. Look what it has done to Amber. Amber lets out another fake sneeze, he smiles at Dhani. Taiji commands Dhani to do other work, she leaves. Taiji asks Amber if he is fine, Amber takes his bag and says he has to go work. After taiji leaves, he puts down his bag and runs to the kitchen.
---Amber arrives to the kitchen and watches Dhani work. He tip-toes behind Dhani and puts his hands around her, Dhani gets scared and hits her had to her chin, he gets flour on himself. Amber smiles at her happily, Dhani worriedly tells him to go. Amber says, I will go but first I must tell you what I have wanted to say since morning. He puts his hands on Dhani's neck and says, after the wedding this is your first...Taiji calls Dhani and she quickly runs away. Amber leans against the counter annoyed, she smiles and says, for your first birthday after our wedding, congratulations. I have been trying to tell you all morning, but have been unsuccessful. Amber sees the flour that Dhani was scooping, he writes on it and says to himself, very soon you will know what is in my heart.
Part 3
---Amber is pretending to look at files in the living room, he sees Dhani going toward teh kitchen. Mayi calls her and says, Sakki I have clothes waiting outside but my foot hurts can you go get those. Dhani says, I have flour waiting in the kitchen. Mayi says, I will do it. Mayi goes to the kitchen, Amber wonders what to do. he runs to the kitchen, Mayi looks at the flour and says to herself, this looks very pretty but what does it say? Amber thinks to himself, good that you cannot read Mayi. He turns around and sees Gauri behind him. He asks, Bhabi you are going to the kitchen? Gauri nods. He says, no Bhabi you know how to read you cannot go to the kitchen! Gauri goes up to Amber and wipes flour from his chin, she says, why do people who can read get flour on them? Amber smiles remembering Dhani hit his chin when he cam from behind her. Amber tries to make an excuse that it changes your look in weeks. Gauri says, it changes you look in a second, it make you looks like a monkey. Amber agrees and praises what she said. Gauri laughs and says, what has been up with you since morning? Amber asks why. Gauri says, because look at the time you are still not at work. Amber looks at his watch and runs to pack up his bag, Gauri goes to the kitchen.
---Amber is walking to the door, he looks around annoyed. he says to himself, look at you Amber you said you would giver her memories so she never forgets them. Forget memories you have not even wished her a happy birthday. He sees Dhani coming down the stairs, he tries to mouth congratulations on you birthday to her. But Dhani does not see, he is walking backward and he trips. Dhani runs to him, he gets up happily. he goes close to Dhani and says, Dhani today... Mayi calls Dhani and Dhani goes, Amber stares after her.
---At night a shadow is coming down the stairs. The person is walking toward the kitchen, where Dhani is working. Dhani turns around and stares at the person scared, Amber puts his hands to Dhani's lips. They stare at each other, Amber takes a platter from her and puts it on the counter. Amber turns her around and stands behind her, he puts his hands to her eyes and she closes it. He ties a cloth around her eyes and carries her in his arms. he carries her outside and sets her near the door. He uncovers her eyes and Dhani looks around shyly. She smiles at the back yard. (Its decorated with hearts and balloons on the floor. A path of petals to a canopy with a table for two under it. Also a swing.) Dhani looks around happily and smiles at Amber, he takes out a gift and opens it in front of her, it is a blue sari. Amber and Dhani looks at each other. Amber says, in my dream world, for my dream Dhani. Dhani looks down shyly and smiles at the sari, she holds it. Ends on Amber looking at Dhani and Dhani looking at the sari.
