Characters:
Jhuneja's
Prem Jhuneja = oldest of the Jhuneja sons at 30yrs old. Raised by his Massi after his parents died in a plane crash. Has one younger brother and sister. Loves his family and would to anything to protect them. Most eligible bachelor but when it comes to girls he is very shy. However, when it comes to business he is all power and brains. He always stands for the truth and what is right. He is co-founder of JC Industries.
Preet Jhuneja = youngest Jhuneja son at 25yrs old. He just finished is MBA and is joining Prem in the family business. He is a very straight forward kind of person, will say whatever comes to his mind. He is definitely the playboy of the family.
Maya Jhuenja = the baby of the Jhuneja parivaar at only 21yrs old. She goes to college to make her brother happy. She is more interested in parties, movies and all kinds of mauj-masti. Her ultimate goal in life is to just be happy housewife.
Massi (Jasminder) = Matriarch of the Jhuneja family. She has raised her sisters three children after she (Gayatri) died along with her husband. Never married because she devoted her life to her niece and nephews.
Chopra's
Biji = old friend of Massi's. She was widowed at a very young age so the two women helped each other with all the children. They have been friends for over 20 years. (think Viren's mom)
Nihaal Chopta = Biji's one and only son who is also 30yrs old. He happens to be Prem's best friend. They went so school together and he is the second co-founder of JC Industries.
Maan's
Heer Maan = oldest of the Maan sisters at age 21. She is in her final year of college and lives in a hostel. She is a very down to earth girl, simple and innocent. She is very protective of her younger sister.
Ashlesha Maan = youngest of the Maan sisters at only 19 years of age. She is very quite and studious, a complete book worm. She often lives in her own world but the most important thing for her is her sister.
Daljeet Cachi = Heer and Meher's Cachi. She got custody of them after her husband died along with their parents in boating accident. She hates and resents the two of them because they were the only survivors from the incident. She blames them for her husbands death.
Others
Rishab Rampal = a very close, personal friend of Nihaal and Prem. Has his own chain of resturants in India.
Manmeet Singh = college friend of Heer. He is a complete duffer type, cuts class and extremely lazy. Always skips town without telling anyone and comes back whenever he wants to. Not reliable at all.
Meher Oberoi = Heer's room mate at the hostel. Very loyal and trust worthy and a great friend.
Rishtas:
The Jhuneja's and the Chopra's all live in the same house as one happy family. Heer, Meher and Maya are all friends from college, they are best friends. Maya knows how Heer's Chachi treats her. Heer never says anything but Maya is always looking for excuses to call Heer to her house to get Heer away from Chachi. Everyone at the house treats Heer and Ashlesha like family. The girls are always up to something at Jhuneja Mansion. Massi and Biji are the heads of the household ... everyone loves them as they are very sweet and supportive women. *everything else will come when necessary*
