No, although its good for Ranvijay to tell the truth (for a change!), it must come with irrefutable proof.
A lady's honour is very fragile. Do you realise how proof is not needed to tarnish a lady's honour?!! So i think Laali's honour must be restored without any room for doubt!
This is necessary for Shekhar. Yes, he probably feels in his heart that Laali is innocent in every respect and that Ranvijay may have set up the whole foul incident but nevertheless it gives him a lot of sadness to think that Laali was tarnished in this way and he is unable to help her out of it. A man's pride is almost always in the purity of his wife (even in the real world today - admit it guys!!). So, I think Laali must proof her innocence in every respect. I can feel her pain even now when I recall the episode where she washed her arms in the pail of water in disgust when she recalled waking up to see Ranvijay at her side.
