Yuvi and Naina - two passionate , torrid , instinct driven people who crossed each-other's paths in an equally hurricane-ish way and their lives were never the same again. And that is what the YuNa relationship is . It is deep-rooted , instinctive , intense and soul-igniting... and there is such a landslide of emotions involved that they both see no logic , no reasoning involving each-other - they throw caution to the winds - refuse to face the glaring issues... because both them are little children at heart as it showed.... With Yuvi scared of losing Naina's trust and love and Naina scared of finding out something about Yuvi that may not be as beautiful as the fairytale that she has woven around him...
And these are exactly the questions that both of them were facing and fighting today. As we have often said , it is easy to promise moon and stars to each-other , fling arms around each-other and breathe 'I love you' but it is what follows that is the ACID TEST.
Today , we saw Yuvi struggle with his innermost fears - I love Naina , I cannot afford to lose her , how do i tell her about the my life in the shadows , she is going to hate me , first ,she has to believe in my love and believe that she loves me more than anything... only then, i can risk telling her the truth about what she saw.
And Naina tried to deal with her insecurities and her trust issues with Yuvi- He loves me or i think that he loves me. He says he loves me but is that enough? What do i know about the man behind the face i so madly love. I need to know what is his life that i don't know about.
Both were right in their own places - Yuvi cannot lose Naina and Naina cannot afford to lose her trust in Yuvi. And they both decided to face their demons the next day...
Naina wondered , thought and re-thought that how is she going to confront Yuvi about his secrets , paying hardly any attention to a blabbering JP.....And then, came Yuvi... like a gust of wind that changes the whole world around Naina... all the violins and all the pianos set into motion. Looking at her in the most tender way, Yuvi walked over to her like a dream... JP seemed to dissolve into pink clouds.😆..... but Naina's butterfly eyes and Yuvi's tenderness were rudely but rightly interrupted by an observant Keerti. 😉... dekho bacche kya kar rahe hain. 😆
Naina returns to Mother Earth and tells Yuvi rather curtly and disturbed that she wants to see him the firescape asap. Yuvi can sense something is wrong .... but he agrees,
And in the firescape , Yuvi actually lived his distant dream of loving and caring for Naina for real... looking at her beauty with the most child-like innocence... holding her in place , touching her tenderly minus all the angst and aggression that he carries... more hurt than Naina at the sight of bruises that Naina got and apologizing for the incident with all his heart. Naina noticed his injuries too and asked him most tenderly how much that must have hurt. Pain. Poignancy. Love. Tenderness. Compassion. Affection....dreamy, isn't it?
And then?
HYDROGEN BOMB DROPPED!
Naina asked him the inevitable question - who were those goons? Yuvi flinched because she attacked his greatest fear. He could not answer her and he did not answer her. He loves her , isn't that enough? But Naina did not give in to her feelings , no matter how much her heart wobbled. She stayed stuck on her question... flustered and heartbroken Yuvi told her that he knows... no matter how hard he tries , she will never trust him... tears stinging his eyes but refusing to step out , he walked away from Naina... leaving her battling between the heart and the head...
Hmmm.....this is the stuff that complicated relationships are made of, when you listen to your heart first and shut the doors on your mind.... not knowing that one day your mind is going to knock so hard that even your heartbeats will stop for that sound to reach you....
Naina is a princess alright... but she is not destined to have a fairytale. Because she has fallen in love with a dark knight... not a charming prince.
