Ok forgetting the practical part , I think human nature is awfully selfish . A human being outgrows every relationship till the end of his life and finally realises that the only true relationship that always existed and remained till the end was the one with God . Parents can turn out selfish , brothers change after marraige , spouses can divorce each other , sisters can back stab u ........this concept of ' love ' is constantly outgrowing as it is not really love at all , just a practical need ...........need khatam , rishta khatam .
In true love , one puts the other above him . Like Manav told Varsha......I decided to divorce her coz if she wants Satish I shud not stand in the way of her happiness , he can give her so much more than I can . Now this state of egolessness .........this is true love .
