The happenings of a past are done and true, that is a fact, history is a fact. The stories will however, always be narrated through a mortal perception. It is up to the readers of these stories to put together two and two and find their own personal truth.

God save Herodotus.

history is written by humans so they always have a perception when they are writing......hitler and nazis were considered devils coz they lost the battle, although casualities were equal on both sides, nobody made eisenhower as devil for bombing japan...believe me history is written by victors
