Here we spill the beans on how to get your ultimate celebrity shape – think killer abs, sculpted arms and supermodel legs!


Lara Dutta's toned body: she has the best hourglass body in the industry. Her toned torso is due to her swimming, yoga, cardio and vegetarian diet. She swims, on an average, thrice a week with 15-25 laps per session.

Her basic routine includes squats, lunges and other compound movements. She practices goddess yoga (75-90 minutes, thrice a week) and cardio exercises like running on the threadmill, elliptical, stepper and weight training including bicep curls, chest press and chest fly.


Priyanka Chopra's abs: Priyanka's abs are phenomenal. She trained hard with intervals using body resistance or light weights in high-rep sets, and jump-rope intervals with push-ups, lunges and strict concentrated ab movements. Push-ups are a staple exercise for the abdominals. They not only work the chest but also help in abdominal muscle development.

Her basic routine includes: treadmill (15 mins) to warm up, 25 reverse lunges, maximum possible push ups, 25 reverse crunches, 25 bicep curls at 8-10 pounds, 25 bench jumps, 60-sec plank hold, power walk (60-70 minutes) up and down the hill.


Shilpa Shetty's waist: staying fit and being in shape is always in three phases – stimulation, recuperation and growth. Her basic routine includes 20 minutes of cycling at 3-resistance, chest press, lat pull-down, tricep press-down, leg press, leg curl, crunches, stretching and yoga. For a flat stomach and defined waist, it depends 90 per cent on the diet one has. Her diet is rich in antioxidants like aloe vera juice, green tea, wheat grass, lime and honey along with warm water.


Bipasha Basu's upper body and arms: Bipasha is ever willing to try out anything, from Acro yoga to swimming. Her arms, back and rock-steady abs are due to years of strength training and cardio. She exercises every day and once a week concentrates on her upper body and arms, and thrice a week on her abs.

Her routine consists of intense free hand exercises, compound movements, interval training and Acro Yoga. Her basic arm exercises include bicep curl and hammer curl, she avoids working out too much on her arms as they bulk up easily. Other exercises for the upper body include chest fly, chest press, push ups, lat pull down, front raises, lateral raises, tricep dips.


Malaika Arora Khan's butt: no trainer can take credit on her butt. She is tiny but voluptuous, slender but well-packed. Her fitness regime includes a lot of weight training and strength training to keep her lean and accentuate her curves without bulking up. She concentrates on her legs, which keeps her butt lifted and tight. She also does variety of triplanar lunges, single-leg squats, Bulgarian split squas, weighted squats, band walks, floor-lying isolation work. Apart from these, she also does kickboxing, free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, stability balls and body weight.
