Since the song is used in the movie Wake Up Sid as a realisation of love for Konkana, quite a few of u may have wondered the relevance to the situation here...

( I googled on details of Iktara and found that it is a single stringed instrument that is capable of a deep bass and a sharp treble'..and hence is metaphorical of music and the seven notes and life's up and down in general )

As I hear the Iktara's music all around me, I can feel myself getting lost in it.
I dont even know what the entire story would be..and if this story is the part of a story or the story itself. How do I know this as I am also a part of this story and I dont know if this story is of a moment or two or would it last forever

So, the premise of the song is the uncertainty of the situation for the girl in question.

Here the song was used in the context of the dreams of Nupur who loves Mayank but has been forced into an engagement with Adhiraj.. She is unsure of her story (he future here) ...she doesnt know what turn her situation would take.. her dreams are of (& with) Mayank but then again, she is not sure of the path ahead...Yet the love fills her like the strains of music from the instrument Iktara...the various shades of love and life...⭐️

Very very well said divz, Nupur being a person who is generally strong and wants to make things happen for herself, she would give in her best to do so but she is only human and indeed having a very emotional, soft and vulnerable side to herself. Thus she is apprehensive of things not working out, of not being with mayank, her deepest fear and her weakest link and strength being mayank. This song perfectly highlights that aspect of nupur, the stage she is standing at today in her life.

I cant conclude the topic without stating how much in awe I am of the scene and the way it was acted out and the way the loved filled the atmosphere ....sigh...Love...is indeed like deep strains of music filling our hearts..heart-warming and we got to watch such a beautiful moment today⭐️...

Divya, yes we all have a heart, and it pained seeing the beauty and intensity of love today...............

Iktara, the song, even when played in isolation, has a certain beat about it, that touches ur heart, and when played on two people in love.............depicting the depth of their pain, fear of loosing each other..........it became all the more meaningful...............

These lines are so for Nupur, being a dreamer, she has forever dreamt of her prince charming taking her away.............but now she isnt sure where things are leading...............and she maybe for the 1st time in her life, doeant like that things dnt move as she want...........

On the other hand, forever in control Mayank Sharma.............doesnt know where life is taking him.............will he be able to salvage his love................so its only assurance which he has at the moment............

Nevertheless, it was a beautiful scene.............as someone said, world' best on the world's best couple..............😊
