OS: SaJan ki Sagaai
December 31st 2009. My engagement. Yep. U heard right. I, Gunjan Bhushan, was getting engaged. That too, to the hottest boy in Excel. Samrat. I sighed dreamily. I still couldn't believe that we were getting married!!! My heart thumped loudly and I blushed in spite of myself. I closed my eyes and let myself get lost in his thoughts. The 1st time we'd met...at Diya's party. I couldn't help but laugh. I had fallen into her pool! And Samrat, who I knew to be Bhavesh at the time, had to rescue me! I could still feel his strong arms around me...protecting me. I shivered. Then I thought back to our valentines day dance. My first dance with Samrat. I remembered the feel of his breath, lightly caressing my neck...our closeness. I smiled. I recalled the party in college that we had thrown for Mayank. His proximity. The way our eyes were held in a trance. I blushed again at the thought of our little 'moment'. God. I loved him so much.
suddenly, I heard a faint whisper near my ear. Samrat.
'Kya soch rahi ho Chashmish?'
He asked, his hands running down my arm.
I shivered at his touch.
'Tumhe isse kya matlab?'
I asked when I'd gotten somewhat control of my heart.
Samrat smiled and lightly kissed my ear.
'ab tum meri ho. Tho mujhe poora haq hai yeh jaane ka ke tumhaare dil me kya hai. Batao na?'
I ignored his question and turned so that I was facing him.
'Waise tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho? mujhe tayaar hona hai. Bahaar jao.'
Samrat gave an exasperated look.
'Bahaar?!! Pehle tum apni di ko bolo ke woh mujhe tang na kare!! Woh aur uski sahaliyaan mere peeche padi hui hai! Is liye tumhaare room me aa gayya!! Mujhe bachaao chashmish!!'
he begged. I rolled my eyes.
'Tayaar hoke bachaongi. Ab jao yahaan se!!'
I struggled in trying to push him out...but he was insistent. He grabbed a hold of my hand tightly.
'Samrat!! Chodo na!! Koi aa jayega!!'
I pleaded. I tried to pull my hand out of his grasp but he wouldn't le go.
'Chashmish...main tumse ek baat kehne aaya tha. Jaane se pehle woh tho bol doon!'
He neared me.
'K-kya?'
I asked. Samrat had a bad habit of getting me nervous.
He grabbed my other hand and pulled me closer. I could hear his heart beats thudding in his chest. I could feel his breath on my cheek. I closed my eyes. He pushed me near the wall. I had no escape. I felt trapped...but I liked it. For a moment, I forgot about everything. I stared into his eyes, wondering how he could possibly love me so much. He got one step closer. My heart beats increased to an unimaginable extent.
'K-kya? Bolo na?'
He smiled and kissed me on the forehead.
'I...'
He kissed me on the cheek.
'love...'
He neared my lips, then slowly whispered;
'you...'
I blushed a bright shade of red and pushed him back.
'Samrat. Tumhe sirf yeh kehna tha?'
I laughed nervously, still shaken up at his close proximity.
Samrat frowned.
'Sirf matlab?'
I sighed and smiled.
'yeh tho hum dono already jaante hain na? Tho phir bataane ki kya zarurat thi? Ab tum jaa rahe ho ya main di ko bulaon?'
I pretened to call her. Samrat shook his head and placed a finger on my lips. He didn't remove it. He ran it across my lips and then down my arm, grabbing my hand once ,more.
'Ek minute Chashmish.'
He lifted my hand and kissed it softly. I shuddered.
'Samrat...'
Then he brought out something from in his pocket. A ring.
'Samrat?'
I asked, this time in wonder.
'Chashmish? Will u marry me?'
My heart thumped loudly in my chest. I was surprised that he couldn't hear it. I couldn't believe this was happening... to me...Gunjan Bhushan. I blushed and brought my hand forward, signaling him to slide the ring onto my finger.
'Haan.'
I whispered. Then laughed.
'Yeh bhi koi poochne ki baat hui?'
He smiled, and before we knew it, we were wrapped tightly in each other's arms... neither of us wanting to let go. The moral of this story? Well, I guess dreams really do come true!!
End.
Wait. Before u even say it, I'll say it myself. That a REALLY stupid OS!!:( Uggh!! But anyway, plz do comment!! (Once again, sry for the crummy OS).
