Dosent Abhi have Friends ?

Ssree, I was thinking the same thing. In the beginning of the show it appeared that Abhi had friends; the zeetv reporter for one. Then, when he was driving Simi to the police station he told her he had seen a movie with his friends.

Simi also had a friend whom we saw in the earlier episodes. Can't say she was much of a friend as she advised Simi to stop being picky and marry RB. We saw her on a couple of occasions and never again. Neetu mentioned a friend from whom she got the cellphone.

It all strikes me as odd. When I have a problem I talk with my friends who give me good advise. I mean, check out your own FB profile or the number of people whom you might have found on this forum. We have friends and we know people. But neither Simi nor Abhi appear to have a social circle. I mean, if you like a guy or girl, who discuss it with your friends, but we don't see any of this one the show. We don't even have Simi talk about it with her sisters. We thought she was going to open up to Milli but that suddenly changed.

I had honestly thought that the creative team would have had Abhi introduce Simi to his friends when he had started to get to know her. Meeting his friends Simi would become conscious of the age difference and that Abhi's friends would include young and trendy women which would remind her she was a "frumpy girl." This would encourage her to have the much needed make-over - which has yet to happen. She's stlll in that braid. Will Abhi even get to open that braid on the wedding night that might not ever be??? And will we as audience members ever get to see what Simi looks like with her hair down?

Disappointing storyline that's all I can say.
