I am totally flummoxed by Abhi's latest move (had already expressed my apprehension earlier, but was hoping I was off-base) ... why would he ensnare himself in a quagmire by asking and accepting a job from - now - Mr. Dagar!! Where does this lead him other than straight to perdition - without passing GO, without collecting $200.00 (a la Monopoly) ... and drags us, the completely unwilling along ... how does this ease things on the already dag(g)er sharp road to matrimonial bliss with his very own Simi?!! 'Uh ... Mr. Dagar, now that I'm wholly indebted to you, allow me to stick a dagger in your back - I'm already betrothed to and intend on marrying Simi, so you had just best collect your sorry behind and make yourself scarce!" ... "Oh yeah?!!! Well, guess what kiddo, you had best collect your even sorrier behind and take a flying leap ... Dagar Enterprises can dispense with your services ... YOU'RE FIRED!!!" ... I'm wishing that Mr. Dagar has, if not a less blunt/dull side, at least a softer one i.e. when faced with this 'predicament' of 'does she, doesn't she, should I, shouldn't I', realizes the futility of insisting that a verrrry reluctant Simi be his after all! And ... while I profess to not knowing anything about this Indian mgmt. institute, I gather it's a first-tier business school akin to Wharton and the like ... so why does Abhi not have a job before now?!! Don't businesses recruit on campus - well before graduation?!!

jeez Dipa next u'll actually expect him to go and WORK........... God woman u need a lesson in desi tv/movies. 1. the actors are never shown working, unless of course the hero and heroine are boss n sec. even then their work requires them to spend most of their time together (with all the other characters in the rich dudes home...... no work) 2. if a person is rich, he has 500 crore which he can lose any minute and get thrown out of his house just by signing a paper.......... almost always fraudulently. 3. in tvland...... simi can be married to abhi and its still possible for Na-kool to not know abt it. 4. the only time the hero ever goes to college is if he has to tease the heroine there, if its a movie he has to sing a song teasing her ....... since simi didnt go to the same college abhi need not be shown there and ur expecting recruiters there??😆 5. simi said job and house, abhi obliged........ she didnt say work, keep ur job, permanent home.......... ur insomina is supposed to make u forget these lil technicalities 😛

Arre nahin bhaiya! What I meant was - how come Abhi has received no job offers on-campus (when he was in school) ... such events not the norm on Indian college campuses? He's already been declared to be a 'smart/intelligent' (gawd, such arcane terms) MBA for whom there is an undying thirst (by the Dagar lackey who was 'interviewing' him before that popinjay Nakul sauntered over) !!!

of course u have recruiters sp. at the good colleges but not in tv/movies......... its much more dramatic to have the hero/heroine going from building to building clutching a folder with his cv and certificates 😕 in it......... n then of course u have the "job interviews" in the middle of which the idiot gets a phone call and sez naukri to gayee.......... followed by the dhaaadaaaan............ dhaadaaaaan............ shock and disapointment ...........😆
