i thought laali's character was supposed to be like a devi - ish
but getting married to shekar....shekar who is still legally married to sidheswari.
well laali sure has no problem doing that....getting married to a already married man....and then wanting to sleep with him...but when she supposedly slept with ranvijay she is disgusted at herself...and then says this shoudn't have been ranvijay but shekar.....i don't get her...and then when sid was about to do the aarti she looked at laali....who felt uncomfortable....probably thinking in here mind.....he's mine now....i like agle janam...but laali sometimes just idk....her character is not portrayed right....they should have shown shekar divorcing sid first then both of them falling in love.....here laali is the other woman

It's natural for Laali to feel disgusted at the thought of the possiblity of having slept with Ranvijay - she does not love Ranvijay. But, she DOES LOVE Shekhar and when one is in love, the lines of right and wrong tends to get a bit blurred. Its easy to be uppity and talk about rights and wrongs when one looks at a subject objectively without any personal feeling or involvement, but if one were to be the one experiencing it - it gets a tad difficult. Laali is under threat to deliver a waaris in a specified time frame - and there's no way of getting one unless she is intimate with Shekhar. And if she has to sleep with Shekhar, then being married to him even as the second wife, is better than not being married at all, especially since Shekhar does love her.
