Priyanka to sing on Indian Idol

Reel life foes in Aitraaz, Kareena and Priyanka are best of buddies when they appear on the Indian idol episode to be relayed tonight on Sony. What's more? Priyanka will air her musical talent when she sings 'Katra katra zaraa zaraa' from Karam, leaving the judges Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik, Farah Khan spellbound.

This all happens when one of the contestants, Amey Date requests the star-guests Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra to sing. Priyanka turns to Kareena to remind her about the song she rendered for Govind Nihalani's Dev.

But Kareena reasons that it's Priyanka who has a better voice. So, Priyanka gets up on stage and obliges. Tonight's episode also has Amey Date singing Manna Dey 'Laga chunri mein daag' which has an overwhelmed Priyanka in tears. "It's my father's favourite song and he sings it all the time," she tells Amey.

Kareena goes a step further and tells Date, "I may not be around to see you in the next two-three weeks. But as far as I'm concerned you're the Indian Idol."
